Women’s Day: what nobody tells you on this day, but I’ll tell you!

Today is March 8th, Women’s Day and I’m here to tell you some truths… So, take a look at the inspiring video I brought to all the women who fight, they are warriors, mothers, workers, housewives, wives, independent, finally, for you who are a woman and know the weight of it! Happy woman’s Day!

For much of my life, I suffered from the pressure to be perfect: the perfect wife, the perfect mother, the perfect professional, and of course that is impossible …

For a long time, I felt frustrated because I thought I disappointed others who were counting on me. I felt that I had failed in my marriage and that was why I was separating, I felt that I failed with my children when I had to leave for work and I felt that I failed professionally when something was wrong at home and overwhelmed me.

I felt very heavy because I was a woman. And I felt guilty about feeling weak sometimes. That’s when I discovered a very important truth and that changed the way I see life: I discovered that everyone, not just women, goes through this and that, yes, I have the right not to handle everything all the time .

Admitting my faults, my mistakes and that I (and all of us) need help from time to time made me much more sincere, true to myself, with my feelings and, consequently, I became much stronger.

And becoming stronger does not mean that I will always get it right and always know what to do, no, on the contrary! Many times things will go wrong, you will do something stupid at work, your children will take you seriously, you and your husband will disagree with some things, the house will be messy… And what I have to tell you is this : it’s all right! It is not your fault!

Life happens in a much more spontaneous way than we can predict and the beauty of living is also there! It is impossible for you to take care and control everything all the time, this will only leave you frustrated, so take care of what is at your fingertips and it’s okay if everything doesn’t work out on the way, there is still a long way to go for you to try again.

I hope you stop this day to reflect and that every day I can help you on this journey so that you can appreciate the woman you really are .
