To successfully complete the game, gamers need to constantly upgrade their characters and their skills, and for this, they need to collect various resources. Among them, it is worth noting the Naku herb. It serves as an important ingredient in both cooking and alchemy, and also helps players elevate their characters, making them stronger.
In this guide, we will take a detailed look at where exactly you can find the Naku herb, and also offer a map of the herb’s location, which will significantly speed up and simplify this process.
Naku Grass
Naku Grass is a native plant of the Inazuma Islands that grows primarily in areas with high concentrations of Electro. The plant is an inflorescence with two flowers surrounded by oval, pointed leaves with holes inside.
Even on windless days, this plant will tremble slightly from the clap of thunder. Those parts of it that resemble petals are actually extensions of the leaves, designed to protect the fragile flower.
Legend has it that these were the plants that the tanuki Ioroi stole from the Shogun’s garden and planted on all the islands. Even after a long time, people still talk about many of Ioroi’s deeds.
What is Naku for?
Naku grass is needed to level up two characters: Yoimiya and Shinobu. To level them up, you will need 168 plants for each.
Naku grass is also used to create the Electrocool Echo Stone. This tool will mark the location of the Electrocools closest to you, making it much easier to find.
To create it you will need: Naku Grass ×5, Sakura Blossom ×5, Amethyst Piece ×1, Mora ×500.
Gathering places
Naku Grass, like many other plants in the world of Genshin Impact, regenerates after 48 real-time hours.
After visiting all the places you found, it is enough to wait a couple of days, and then go through all the routes again. Or you can visit your friends’ worlds and collect herbs from them.
Great Narukami Shrine
Go to the teleport point “Mount Yogo, Inazuma”. There will be two trees on your left. Go to them and collect the Naku Grass.
Mount Yogo
In the eastern part of the mountain you will have to collect six Naku grass. The easiest way is to teleport to the Narukami Temple and then glide to the collection point from there.
Once you’ve collected the sixth herb from the eastern part of the mountain, go down a little further and collect three more herbs.
Now, glide down from Narukami Temple again, having first looked at the map to know which way to fly.
While you’re going down, take a look around. Two Naku herbs will catch your eye right away. They’re not that far from each other, so collecting them shouldn’t be too difficult.
Byakko Plain
The three Naku herbs are located underground. To get to this place, you need to complete the world quest “Strange Case in Konda Village”.
You can start it by talking to the priestess standing near the fox statue. She is located in Konda Village, not far from the “Narukami Island, Inazuma” teleportation point.
During the mission, you will go down into the well. Summon the Electrocool and go through the electric barrier. Behind it, the Naku herb will be waiting for you.
Tatarasuna
Before you start looking for the herb, you need to remove the barrier blocking the way inside.
To do this, you need to complete the Tales from Tatara world quest by talking to Toranosuke, and also replenish your food supplies, as there is a high concentration of Electro inside, due to which the characters’ health will constantly decrease.
Once you complete the task, follow the route shown in the screenshot below and collect 22 Naku Herbs.
Yasiori Island
There are eight wonders growing near Higi Village and Musojin Gorge, and five more can be found in the area around Jakotsu Mine.
Seirai Island
Unlike other places, Seirai Island has a lot of Naku grass growing, so this place is the best for farming the oddity.
But before heading to the island, it is recommended to complete the “Storm Hunters of Seirai” quest chain to make exploring the area easier.
The location of all plants is shown in the screenshot below.
Where to buy
Naku Grass is sold in two shops: Aoi in Inazuma and Babak in Sumeru.
Aoi. Inazuma
Naku Grass can be purchased from Aoi the Merchant. Her shop is located in Inazuma, near the northern teleportation point “Inazuma, Inazuma”. Aoi sells one of these oddities for 1000 Mora. You can buy 5 of these plants from her in total.
Babak. Sumeru
Besides Aoi, Naku grass is sold by the shop owner Babak, who is located in Sumeru, Port Ormos. After moving to the teleporter, go to the opposite side of the pier or just glide down.
Babak sells 5 herbs for 1000 mora each.
Teapot of Serenity
If you have a teapot of serenity, once inside it you can plant Naku grass seeds in specially designated planting areas. This way you will have a constant supply of Naku grass.
The Teapot of Serenity can be obtained by reaching Adventure Rank 28, as well as completing the Archon quest Chapter 3 “Approaching a New Star” and the world quest “A Teapot is a Full Cup”.
Once you have fulfilled all the conditions, you will have a “Teapot of Serenity” in your inventory, which will allow you to enter your abode.
Naku Grass is one of the important resources in Genshin Impact, needed to create various recipes and level up characters.
Don’t forget to use the map markers as well, as this will not only make it easier to find the Naku Herb, but will also save you time. Good luck on your adventures!
