Where to find all the shelters in Fallout 4
We have five shelters in the base game and two more that were added with the expansions.
Shelter 111
It is the refuge of our main character, and it is the place where he went with his entire family to protect themselves from nuclear bombs. However, the shelter itself was a site for cryopreservation experiments, so our character was frozen for years. That is until a mercenary arrived, kidnapped the player’s son, killed his wife and the rest of the members of the shelter, and we promised to hunt him down.
It is located northwest of Sanctuary, up the hill.
Shelter 75
This shelter became a place of torture, and the staff executed the adult inhabitants and left only the children alive to experiment on them. Nothing went well, and everyone died.If you go to this shelter it will be occupied by gang members. To find it you must head southeast from Lake Quannapowitt until you find the location known as Malden Middle School, and you must go to the basement of the school to see the open door to the shelter.
Shelter 81
intended to infect people against their will.Luckily, the original shelter supervisor locked up the team that was meant to carry out this cruelty, and turned it into a place that is still fully operational today.
You can find Vault 81 by heading southeast from Fort Hagen, north of the Coast Guard Pier, though you’ll need to pass a few tests and have a number of items to gain entry.
Shelter 95
It was created with members who had to overcome their addictions to different illegal substances.
Curiously, they managed to overcome these additions, but things went awry later on, they went mad and killed each other. When we get to this area, there will be another gang, specifically the gunners.
It is located on the side of a cliff, northwest of Capsized Factory.
Shelter 114
It was intended to store rich people, but then they had to start living like poor people, in a kind of social experiment.
However, the inhabitants escaped halfway through the shelter experiment. You will encounter members of another gang and find them near Goodneighbor.
From this area travel southwest, enter Park Street Station and go down into the depths to find the path leading to Vault 114.
Shelter 118
It comes as part of the Far Harbor expansion, and was designed to pit the super-rich against members of the working-class population. It didn’t work out, and you’ll find this shelter underneath the Cliff’s Edge Hotel, which is located east of the national park headquarters.
Shelter 88
From the Vault-Tec Workshop expansion, it was originally intended for testing prototypes with a view to then sending them to other vaults.
However, the bombs began to fall and the shelter did not have time to be completed. You can find it in a small cave beneath Quincy Quarries, which is located southeast of Hyde Park.As you can see, these are essential places with very interesting stories that you must visit without fail.
