It is done in several simple steps, then the first thing is to select the content , either for example, from the internet or from other documents such as a PDF; To do this we make the combination of the keys Ctrl + E and then Ctrl + C to copy.
Next, we open LibreOffice Write and paste it with Ctrl + V, now we check if paragraph breaks have appeared, for this we go to the toolbar, click on the ¶ symbol, which is the same as “Non-printable characters” or ” Ctrl + F10 ”.
Subsequently, we select the paragraph or text where the jump symbol appears to eliminate them; then we click on “Edit” in the toolbar and when the new window is displayed, again click on “Search and replace”.
Now click on “Other options”. Then “Regular expressions”, and in that same window at the top where it says “Search”; you put the symbol that is equivalent to that regular expression, such as $ ; then a little lower click on “Replace all”.
A new window appears; click on “OK”, now you leave that “Find and Replace” window in the red X at the top. You will notice that the paragraph breaks have already been removed .
For line breaks, they are identified with the following symbol ↲ , the procedure to eliminate them is the same as for paragraph breaks only, the regular expression that you are going to place at the top of the “Find and replace” window, in “Search” is \ n, then you continue with the same steps until you verify that they were eliminated in the document.
