Westworld already has a video game for mobile devices just days before the end of its second season. In it you can build and manage your own theme park in the style of what can be seen in the television series.
Westworld for Android: now available on the Play Store
Westworld is without a doubt one of the most popular series of recent years. Its second season was long overdue, but it has kept fans hooked on the plots of this peculiar theme park. Because of this, it was not difficult to assume that sooner or later some kind of license-based game would arrive, and that is what will happen with the launch of Westworld for Android, which is now available on the Play Store.
That the title was in development has been known since March, when it was part of a first batch of applications that offered rewards for previous registrations. There is no word on the success of this initiative, but what you can do now is download the game on your mobile. It weighs more than 100 MB, so make sure you have a Wi-Fi connection at hand, since even the Play Store itself will warn you about it.
Playing Westworld for Android: build your own park
During the first few minutes with the game, you will be introduced to the basic mechanics by familiar characters from the series. It is explained to you that you are in a simulated environment of the park and that the idea is to train yourself so that you understand how it works. From there, you’ll need to build hosts, match hosts with guests, and build new attractions for your guests. For all this you will have two levels: the upper area is the Park, the lower area is the Factory.
The idea is that you gather host codes to create them. This means not just specific characters, but specific abilities. Thus, you will soon be creating a host dedicated to gambling or another dedicated to being robbed. The processes of creation, construction and interaction between characters consume time . During the first minutes you can speed up these times for free, but later they will start to cost gems as in Clash of Clans , one of the two currencies in the game. The other currency is simply Gold;and with both you will have to manage to invest in your park. The game uses micropayments without any kind of compassion, so you can speed up any process if you are willing to pay. You’ll also have predetermined events and stories to participate in to keep running your experience a bit.
Graphically Westworld for Android enjoys a peculiar style, but very appropriate for the game style. In a Xiaomi Mi A1 it moved smoothly and without any kind of problems, it does not seem to be a very demanding game and it should work on almost any device.
