Returning in the first season of Call of Duty: Warzone, the M4A1 was one of the most dominant assault rifles available. However, the popular assault rifle quickly lagged behind other weapons in its class due to various Infinity Ward nerfs. Now, due to the recent weapon rebalancing, it is making a comeback.
As a result, we thought it would be a good time to review the M4A1 in Warzone to give it an edge over the competition. So here are three of our top M4A1 Warzone charging recommendations .
The best M4A1 loads in Warzone
Long range
- Muzzle:Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel:M16 grenadier stock
- Optical:VLK 3.0x Optical
- Underbarrel:Foregrip Command
- Ammo:60 rnd magazines
The monolithic suppressor is pretty much a staple for most weapons in Black Ops: Cold War, improving your range and keeping you out of enemy radars.
Meanwhile, the Stock M16 Grenadier is a powerful cannon that offers increased damage range, bullet speed, and recoil control, while sacrificing some ADS and movement speed. Overall, we think it’s worth it.
Then the VLK 3.0x Optic offers longer-range target acquisition, while the Commando Foregrip gives you best-in-class recoil control and stability. Finally, a 60 Round Mag helps increase your total ammo capacity.
Sniper support
- Muzzle:Monolithic Suppressor

Similar to long-range charging, we’d go back to looking for the monolithic suppressor to improve your range and prevent you from spawning on enemy radars.
We will then equip the Corvus Custom Marksman which offers additional range, while sacrificing some mobility.
Laser Tac offers you the best ADS (Aim Down Sights) bonus of all attachments, but be aware that it may sometimes reveal your location.
Then we would go for the Merc Foregrip, which improves recoil control and hip shot accuracy, so you can waste closer encounters. And finally, we would go for 60 Round Mags to increase your total ammo reserve.
Melee Combat – Warzone M4A1 Best Loads
- Barrel:Predator FSS 12.4 ″
- Laser:5mW laser
- Underbarrel:Merc Foregrip
- Back handle:Dot tape
- Ammo:50 magazines
The 12.4 “Predator FSS has a built-in suppressor with sharper ADS, so you’ll be stealthier and more deadly at the same time.
Elsewhere, the 5mW laser grants hip fire enhancement and fire speed enhancement, allowing you to destroy enemies more effectively in closer encounters. Next, we’ll choose the Merc Foregrip, which improves both recoil control and hip shot accuracy.
Plus, the dotted grip tape provides another cool bonus to your ADS and sprint to shoot. Finally, we would go for 50 Round Mags to increase their overall ammo reserves.
