Warface: tips for playing on the map “Pyramid”

General information about the map, basic timings, tips for the game

In this guide, we will look at the Warface MMO Shooter Pyramid map , timings for each side and describe tips for achieving victories. This map is the youngest of all the ” Demolition ” PvP-mode katr . Like other maps of the mode, it has two strategically important objects for the explosion, and one point of joint action from the base of the defenders and attackers.

Timings

Let’s designate the main important points and the time it takes a fighter to get to them. We will use sports boots as a ” reference “, because only they give the maximum jerk range from all shoes for warbucks that are allowed in Warface tournaments (only tournament boots have a value 10% higher).

Point 1

Point 2

Point 3

Exactly eleven seconds need to be spent by the player to get to the entrance to the center of the first strategic object from the Blackwood base (point ” 3 ” on the improvised map). The enemy will take this position a few seconds earlier (approximately nine seconds) and will be waiting for you.

Point 4

A position primarily used by snipers. A fighter of the attacking team will reach this point much earlier than the enemy, which will give him a slight advantage over him (in about seven seconds). While the defenders will take a position opposite in ten seconds.

Point 5

This position is several meters further than the previous one (from the Blackwood side). Attackers need to spend almost two seconds more to occupy it ( nine seconds). For their part, the defenders will arrive at the point in the same time.

Point 6

This position is one of the fundamental if the team is going to occupy the second strategically important object of the defenders. It will take eleven seconds to cover the distance from the attacker’s base to the cover (box on the hill) . Be careful – this time will be enough to get to the opposite shelter for the enemy fighters. If you do not have time to reach it in time, the enemy will start fire from behind cover, so move upward along the wall.

Point 7

To get to this position, you need to take a joint action with a teammate:

  • It takes about thirteenseconds to get to the cover at the top of the center from the attacker’s base through a joint action (two fingers) . If you climb alone, then this figure will be reduced to eleven
  • The fighters of the defending team will reach the opposite point of the center through a joint action together in twelveIf your teammates put you on one finger, then it will be possible to take a point in just nine seconds.

Advice

  • Both teams must have at least one medic: he can be used as a lethal force at close range, to heal the wounded and to resuscitate the dead soldiers of the group.
  • An Engineer-class fighter is also required to plant and mine explosives. It is possible to use several fighters of this class, since mainly medium distances prevail on the map.
  • An attack aircraft is an irreplaceable unit in terms of firepower at any distance – one or more good fighters of this class in a group will undoubtedly provide these conditions.
  • There are also sniper positions on the map, so the presence of a “Sniper” class fighter will not be superfluous. It all depends on the strategy of the team.
  • Absolutely all sheds on the map can be shot with any firearm. You can also shoot through the iron side on the hill of the second strategically important enemy object.
  • In defense, immediately occupy the first or second strategic object for defense with the whole team, only a few people are sent to the opposite one for verification. Do not rush, wait for the enemy’s mistakes. If the enemy moved to another object, you should not be heroic, try to occupy it gradually.
  • In any detachment there must be a rear, whose task is to monitor the rear in case of a possible bypass of the enemy’s forces.
  • Place antipersonnel mines in the aisles and in case of outflanking the enemy both in defense and in attack.
