Chapter 1

After the introductory cut-scenes, you will take control of Leon. We need to find out where the policeman went. Follow the only path until you reach the house. Go inside through the front door. You can look around, but in the story you need to go to the end of the corridor and open the last door. After the cutscene, pick up the dropped key from the floor. Return to the corridor and use it on the door on the right. Go down the stairs and follow to the end of the basement to see another cutscene. After the cut-scene, move back out of the basement. Keep in mind that you will be attacked by mutants, so use the gun to finish off the grandfather from the room above. Go through the broken door that was boarded up earlier, go up the stairs and see another cut-scene. After it, you will find yourself outside the hunting house.

Follow to another building. Outside will be the first destructible barrel. Get closer and interact by pressing the button that appears. You can also press LMB to attack the barrel with a knife. Enter the house and save with the typewriter. Such devices are used for manual saving (and this is the only way to save on the Professional difficulty level). Keep going until you encounter new enemies. Most mutated humans are fairly easy to kill: just aim for the head to stun them, then run up and finish them off when prompted.

Continue and check the small hut on the left. Go to the big gate at the end of the path to enter the village. In the next area, you will find a serious combat scenario with many enemies, just like in the original. You can go through this section in different ways, but one way or another, you will have to kill some enemies, and also look for ways to wait out the time, since there simply won’t be enough forces to destroy all the mutants. After 4-5 minutes, they will calm down when they hear the bell ringing, and leave for the temple (a cut-scene will start). You can run around the streets, there are more than enough places here. Or you can use buildings.

One of the ways to stall time is to enter the last building on the left. Once inside, block the first floor window by moving the cabinet, then go upstairs and remove the W-870 shotgun from the wall. Using this gun and other equipment, you will be able to fend off enemies that climb through the windows and climb the stairs. If you manage to destroy the man with the chainsaw, which is optional, an emerald will fall out of him. Chainsaw Man, like some of the other thugs, are mini-bosses that usually drop gems or other artifacts. You can also run into the barn on the right, run through it and shoot the lamp above the cow, which will kick several opponents.

After a while, a bell will ring, and all the enemies will enter the building in the east, and Leon will be left alone. Walk around this area to collect supplies. Before moving on, make sure you take the two treasures. In the building where the W-870 gun is located, there is a window through which you can get out. From the top floor, climb over the roof window and follow to the right to find a velvety gem located right on the roof. Jump down and when you’re ready to continue, follow the path to the northeast. In the last barn on the left, not far from the gate, look for a ruby hidden in a chest to the right of the door.

Go through the gate to get to the farm. In the building on the right behind the entrance there will be a typewriter. There are a few normal enemies in the area that are unaware of your presence, but will attack if you light up. Deal with them, then go to the left side of the farm through the barn. To the left of the barn, look for a windmill with a silver cage. Shoot this cage as there is a treasure hidden inside it. There are many such cells in the game, and all of them make a characteristic sound close to them. Wait for the windmill to spin and the cage to the right, then shoot it to drop a pearl necklace. If you shoot when the cage is on the left, the necklace will fall into the well. You can still pick it up, but in this case, the cost of the necklace will be much lower.

Trader’s Request: Destroy the Blue Medallions

Head to the gate to the north to find a blue piece of paper taped to the wall. This is your first order from the merchant. Think of these quests as side quests that will reward you with a special in-game currency, pink spinel gems, which can be exchanged for items from a separate category (mostly unique items). Most of the quests don’t require you to search for the quest sheets themselves, so if you destroy a few blue medallions beforehand, nothing bad will happen. In this quest, you need to shoot 5 blue medallions scattered around the farm. As soon as you take the quest sheet, markers will appear on the map indicating the location of these very blue medallions. Thus, the task is simplified as much as possible. If you complete the task, you will receive 3 spinels.

  • Blue Medallion 1. Return to the entrance to the area, and look for the medallion outside, on the north corner of the building with the typewriter.
  • Blue medallion 2. Jump over the fence to be next to the barn and look inside through the window to see the second one. Or enter the barn with the cow and shoot straight from there.
  • Blue medallion 3. Go through the barn with the cow and look for the medallion in the small building opposite.
  • Blue medallion 4. Follow the gate and look to the right. A blue medallion hangs in the top window of the originally closed barn.
  • Blue medallion 5. Finally, when you move from the windmill to the locked shed, from this path you will see the last medallion behind the fence and the street altar.

Return to the large gate where you activated the quest and go through the metal door under the archway. There will be tripwire bombs here (crouch and sneak under the wire, or disable the device, although you still get nothing for it). Climb to the second floor, where the mechanism with the missing gear is located. Leave the mill through the southeast door and jump down from the balcony to find a chest ahead that contains a decanter. You will be told that treasures with empty slots can be improved with stones of different colors. Depending on the combination of these stones, the cost of the item will increase by a certain number of times.

For example:

  • Two gems of different colors – x1.1
  • Two gems of the same color – x1.2
  • Three gems of different colors – x1.3
  • Three gems of the same color – x1.4
  • Two pairs of gems of two colors – x1.5
  • Four gems of different colors – x1.6
  • Four gems of the same color – x1.7
  • A pair of gems of one color and three gems of another color – x1.8
  • Five gems of the same color – x1.9
  • Five gems and all of different colors (red, blue, green, purple, yellow) – x2.0

Ahead is a door with a lock. Such locks break easily, after which the doors can be opened – shoot or stab. Inside the building, in the left corner there is a box in which the ruby is hidden. Also take the wooden gear from the table on the right, which lies next to your first kitchen knife. This is a weak knife that can be used instead of a combat knife, but it will break after a while. As soon as you enter this part of the barn, enemies will appear. Wooden doors will be knocked out by a thug with a hammer. He is stronger than normal enemies, but weaker than a guy with a chainsaw. It can even be stunned and then attacked with melee attacks. However, if you followed my advice and did not neutralize the tripwire in the building with the windmill, run there, crawl under the tripwire and lure the monster into a trap. He will take massive damage. Once you’ve dealt with all the enemies, go back inside the windmill and install the gear in the mechanism of the second floor. Pull the lever to open the gate to the next area.

Go to the building ahead, but it will be locked. Supplies can be found on the left, but to continue the story, go to the right of the house and move the wagon out of the way. Moving forward, avoid falling debris – press the indicated key in time. Then there will be enemies that will have to be eliminated. Shoot at the enemies standing on the bridge and they will fall down. Continue to the Lakeside Settlement where you will encounter more enemies throwing explosives. Eliminate the enemy with dynamite in the building ahead and another enemy on the platform to the left. If possible, you can shoot the explosive while it is in the mob’s hand. This will result in an instant explosion. If the enemy sets fire to the dynamite, shoot at the enemy himself, and after a while he will drop it, which will also lead to death in the explosion.

Deal with the enemies around the house, go to the other side and climb inside through the window. Go to the second room on the right and look at the rafters under the ceiling to find the first clockwork keeper. Each chapter has one such caretaker. As in the case of silver cages, it is quite easy to identify them – by a characteristic sound close by (metal clanging). Destroying the first clockwork keeper will reward you with the Act of Defiance achievement. Move towards the house where your target is and kill new enemies. Break the lock to get inside and go through the building. Disarm the stretch in the corridor. Move the bookshelf and go to the next room. Deal with the enemy and use the hatch. Interact with the item at the end of the corridor to complete the chapter.

Chapter 2

After the cut-scene, you will find yourself in a new region, having lost all your equipment. Exit the room and take the kitchen knife from the corpse, which will come in handy in order to eliminate several enemies in the abandoned factory. Go to the next room, where the first enemy is located, and read the tutorial. You will learn about stealth killings. Be sure to crouch and get close to the enemy from behind to finish with a single button press (hit). Move to the next room to learn about the parry. Using the knowledge gained, destroy the mob. In the same room, open the stoves on the left side. The sapphire is hidden in the second furnace.

Continue and stealthily kill another enemy by sneaking up on him from behind. When you get to the last room, interact with the lever. You will see the door on the other side of the cell with Leon’s equipment go up. Quickly run there and take these items before the door closes.

Trader’s Request: Pest Control

Exit the room to see a merchant who will open a double door. This will happen only after you return Leon’s equipment. Before talking with him, you can pick up the blue page with the next assignment hanging on the wall on the right. The merchant wants you to kill three rats that are in the abandoned factory area. You could have slaughtered them before, although it’s much easier to shoot these rats with a pistol. The first one is in a ruined corridor with two windows, where you also met the last enemies. Two more rats are running around the large room with the opponent you were trained in parrying against.

Return to the merchant to turn in both orders. Completing any of them will unlock the “Well Done Outsider!” achievement. Go to the bonus section of his merchandise and optionally purchase a “Treasure Map: Village” worth 1 spinel. After acquiring it, markers will appear on your regular map indicating the location of all the treasures in the Village region, making it easier to find them. You can sell the treasure you found earlier to the merchant. Remember to insert gems into treasures with empty slots. You can sell key items marked with a “tick”. This indicates that they are no longer needed. For example, instead of throwing it away or moving it to storage, sell the key to the hunting lodge to the merchant. Use this opportunity to upgrade your weapons and save.

Follow the southeast of the area to get to the valley. You need to find another key item that will allow you to pass through the large gate and return to the village. There are several enemies in this area, and as you destroy them, more will appear. You can quickly run through the area or kill each enemy. The first goal is to get to the large building on the right side of the location, since the story item is hidden in it. There you will also find a small key. Go around the building from the southeast to find an open window through which you can get inside. The rest of the doors are locked.

When you’re ready to continue, first go through the door on the opposite side of the story item room. You will find yourself in a small room, where on the left hand is a case with a small key. Such keys allow you to open boxes in drawers (for example, the drawer that you could find in the room with Leon’s selected equipment). Returning to the previous room, climb the stairs to get to the roof and collect the hexagonal emblem.

To leave the area, go to the northeast side, climb up and look for a chest with a ruby under a small structure. There is a handle on the left side of the chest. Interact with her to open a gate near where you entered from and return to the merchant. So do it. Before continuing, return to the room where Leon’s equipment was taken and use the small key on the cabinet. After unlocking the drawer, you will be able to pick up an elegant mask.

Interact with the empty slot by the door opposite the merchant and place the hexagon emblem. To place it correctly, you need to rotate it so that it becomes a mirror image of the image inside the cell. Having done this, rotate the emblem with the image inside and install. Interact with the mechanism to open the gate. The next area contains three enemies that need to be eliminated. Before continuing up the stairs, make your way through the small opening on the left side.

On the other side there will be a chest with a sapphire. Continue up the stairs to the next area, hugging the left wall to reach a small hut. In the right corner, look for the second clockwork keeper. Exit the hut and look at the tree to see another metal cage. Shoot it to get a sapphire. Finally, on the left side, there is another metal cage hanging over the well. As with the windmill from the first chapter, try to make sure that the cage does not fall into the well. Then the treasure will be worth more. Shoot the wooden board holding the lid over the well. Once it falls down, shoot the metal cage to get a pearl necklace.

A man with a chainsaw will go down the stairs ahead. You can use cunning to make the fight easier. There are several traps in this area that work not only on you, but also on other mobs. Lure a man into traps, as a result of which you can deliver a finishing blow. Or you can freely shoot the enemy without worrying about the oncoming damage. You can also walk around the stone structure. You can dodge and climb the stairs where the tripwire is located. Get under the wire and wait. A guy with a chainsaw will fall into this trap.

In the next area, go to the back of the house to get inside through the back door. Inside the mansion, before entering the main room, you can open the drawer on the right to get a ruby. Enter the main room, in the left corner from the front door, look for a small key. To progress through the story, follow the corridor at the back of the dining room, where there is a cabinet with a combination lock.

On the top floor there is a clue to solve this puzzle. From left to right, you must set the following images: crop, pig, child. Take the crystal ball out of the cupboard. Climb up and insert it into the door. Rotate the balloon so that the bubbles line up and match the pattern of the insect. Enter the room and interact with the table in the opposite corner. Get the key of the order from the box to complete the second chapter.

Chapter 3

At the beginning of the chapter, you will be in the same room on the second floor of the village chief’s mansion. You need to go to church. Go down and exit through the front door. Before moving forward, go around the mansion in the same way as you went to the back door to find a dog trapped. Help her get out. By freeing the dog, you will get good help in a future fight against the boss. Follow the gate opposite the mansion and use the order key to open it and return to the village square. Before moving on, enter the second building on the left where there was a locked chest of drawers. Use the small key you got at the end of the previous chapter to open the drawer and get the vintage compass.

When you try to get to the building at the end of the square where the locals went, the tower on the left will collapse and the path ahead will be blocked. You are also attacked by a pack of rabid dogs. As with humans, headshots deal increased damage to dogs, and sometimes stun them. To reach the goal, you need to go through the last house on the right to bypass the wreckage. Use the key obtained earlier, enter the town hall and look at the ceiling in the middle of the large room to find a metal cage. Shoot it and get a velvety gem.

Trader’s Request: Serpent Hunt

Exit through the door at the other end of the building to find a merchant’s shop. Another request hangs on the wall behind him – you need to sell three snakes to the merchant. You may have already discovered one of these in the previous building. However, you will find snakes randomly when breaking wooden crates or barrels. After that, kill and pick up the snake to add to inventory. By eating snakes, you can restore health. Keep at least three of them and sell them to the merchant to complete the quest and earn spinels. Follow forward to reach the cemetery in front of the church.

Trader’s Request: Grave Robber

As you move through the graveyard, you can complete another merchant’s errand beforehand. In the middle of the cemetery there are two tombstones with the same emblems. Destroy both with a pistol shot or a melee attack. This is enough to complete the task.

Go to the end of the cemetery and open the gate to reach the church area. After the cut-scene, follow the church on the right, to the “backyard”. Here you will find a chest with an elegant head ornament. There is also a blue note hanging here with the quest described above (if you did not destroy these emblems in the cemetery). Go through the door on the right side of the church, past which you went to the backyard. You will enter a room with a typewriter and you can save. Interact with the map on the wall to upgrade the main objective. Interact with the hatch in the floor.

After making your way under the church, go to the left, to the wooden structures with enemies using Hammer cocktails. As with dynamite, you can shoot directly at the cocktail, or at the enemy to drop it from their hands. Inside the building on which the first enemy stands, look for a box, upon destruction of which a snake will appear. Kill her with a knife or pistol shot, and don’t forget to pick her up.

Trader’s Request: Destroy Blue Medallions 2

Follow the platforms until you reach a quarry. Immediately after entering, behind a huge hammer on the left side, look for a note with another assignment. Take it so that markers appear on the map indicating the location of the next 5 medallions. They are scattered across two locations that you will visit right now. After activating the quest, you will see ravens sitting on the ground.

Before moving on, throw a flashbang at a flock of crows to kill some birds and earn the Cover Your Eyes achievement (for killing 5 enemies with a flashbang at the same time). Later on you will find several other places where you can get the achievement, but this is the perfect place. Deal with a couple of dogs, go to the main area and look up to find a metal cage. Shoot it and a ruby will fall out.

Blue medallion 1. To the left of where the metal cage was hanging, you can see the first medallion hanging from the scaffolding.

Follow on until you enter another building, where there will be a trading shop. The first shooting range is located in this place, which can be reached by an elevator to the right of the merchant.

These shooting ranges usually have three tasks, for which you will receive silver and gold coins. Then these coins can be exchanged in the machine near the elevator for key rings, which, in turn, are hung on the inventory case. There are three keyring slots in total. Complete any challenge to earn the “Amateur Shooter” achievement.

Returning to the merchant, go down to the east. Go around the platform near the water to find another clockwork keeper. You will see it by looking through the gap between the canopy and several crates. Climb up to where the merchant was. Before going through the door opposite, get hexagon A from the chest in the area with the merchant.

Blue medallion 2. Go through the door in front of the merchant to be on the shore of the lake. Go down and look under the pier to find another medallion.

There is a boat at the pier, but fuel is required to use it. You need to climb the stairs on the left, which leads to the fish farm. When you enter the fishermen’s village, you will automatically fall down. Go deeper until enemies appear, including a brute with a hammer. There are several tripwires scattered around this area that can be used to lure enemies. The Brute can be killed with grenades and a shotgun.

Blue medallion 3. Climb out of the water to the first hill, where there is a small barn, and a medallion hangs inside.

In the immediate vicinity of this location, you can find and kill about three snakes. Like real snakes, they emit a characteristic hiss. Don’t forget to sell the three snakes to the merchant to complete the previously received quest.

Blue medallion 4. Go down into the water to the other side, behind the tall tower on the left you can look through the gap in the wooden wall to shoot at the next medallion.

Move across the water to the northern platforms to find a hanging metal cage. Shoot it down and pick up an old pipe.

Blue medallion 5. Move to the end of the wooden platform that leads to the area behind the fence. Head through the area below the platform leading north to find the last medallion and a chest with Hex B.

Head towards the objective, but first enter the small building to the left of the main barn. Inside there is a box with a small key. Break the lock and go to the barn. Take the canister of fuel, after which you will need to return to the pier. Exit the building, go up the stairs to the right and you will be able to go to the beginning of the region on top. Follow to the very end and jump down. Climb up to the first wooden platform, where there is another ladder that will allow you to go to the exit. On the way back you will encounter another enemy group!

Don’t rush back to the boat. Instead, go to the merchant and again go down the stairs to his left. There is a locked drawer in the far corner that can be opened with a small key to get a copper pocket watch. Don’t forget to talk to the merchant and sell the three snakes to complete the quest. Once you’re done with the side activities, return to the dock and interact with the boat by using the fuel canister on it.

How to beat Del Lago

You will face Del Lago, the lake monster and your first boss. You can control the boat to dodge various objects and avoid collisions. You must also throw endless harpoons at the enemy. You can damage a monster only at the moment when it emerges from the water. After a while, the monster will stop pulling the boat and go under the water. Watch for footprints on the water, prepare a harpoon and throw it into the monster’s mouth to avoid damage. Repeat the steps above until victory, which will mark the end of the chapter.

Chapter 4

At the beginning of the chapter, you will find yourself in another part of the lake, without a boat. Move through the location until you meet a new type of enemy. These are all the same distraught residents whose head is torn as a bloody tentacle crawls out of the neck. To deal increased damage, you need to aim at the large part where the human head used to be. Sometimes such enemies can be stunned and you can melee attack them. Not all people mutate, but if you see that the enemy has fallen to the ground and begins to writhe, immediately run up and use the hint to finish off and prevent mutation. In general, a 100% dead enemy will always drop loot. If it doesn’t drop, it’s about to mutate, or it just hasn’t been killed yet.

Defeat the two enemies and get to the cave. Examine the room with two stone hands, look for a map on the right. After interacting with her, two places will appear on your map, indicating where to look for stone heads. You can visit both places in any order. Exit the cave to the river, turn right to find an altar from which you can take the key for street altars. The ones you’ve seen before. For example, on a farm behind a village square.

Trader’s Request: Egg Hunt

Go to the boat dock and look on the wall on the left for another note with the merchant’s order. There is a chicken farm on the eastern shore of the lake, where you will find a golden egg (we will specify below). After that, sell the golden egg to the merchant, whose shop is located southwest of the lake.

Go to the pier where there is a new boat with a motor. On it you can swim across to different parts of the lake. Let’s start with collectibles. Before completing the main task, swim to the middle of the lake, where there is a wreckage of a boat. Moor the boat in the center and find a chest with a gem. Exit to the other side of the structure through the center and go to the front of the wreckage. There will be another treasure chest here, in which the Red9 pistol is hidden.

If the inventory is full, be sure to send the gun to storage so that it is counted as found. If you do not need it, you can sell it later, although it is much better than a standard pistol. Get back on the boat and sail east to find a small chicken farm. Head left past the cages to find a Velvety Gem on top of a barrel. Walk around the back of the area to find a golden chicken egg lying on the ground. Do not under any circumstances eat it!

Return to the boat and swim to the northeast corner of the lake, where one of the main objectives is located. Swim through the cave and dock at the pier. Look around carefully to notice a few yellow symbols depicted on the walls and not only. These symbols correspond to those on the buttons next to the locked door. Activate the three symbols shown in the screenshot below to open the door. Interact with the statue to collect the blasphemer’s head. On the right side, look for a chest with a hexagon C, which is needed to solve the puzzle and get another treasure. Head up the stairs and look for a metal cage hanging to the left. Break it to get a ruby.

Get back on the boat and sail to the northwest corner of the lake to get to the Lakeside Settlement you visited in the first chapter. New enemies will appear. Go north from the house to find a street altar. Use the key you found earlier and take the pearl necklace. Follow the wall to the north and look for a door that can be opened with the same key. It leads into the cave.

Trader’s Request: Catch Me a Big Fish

Enter the cave and turn left, where there is a pillar with a blue note – another assignment. You need to catch a large perch in the lake in front of the boat house (we will indicate the right place below).

Turn around and go through the door opposite, then up the stairs to reach the forest altar. Behind the fence to the north, look for a clockwork keeper. On the left side is a wagon, on which you can find a small key. Once you’ve obtained the small key, return to the Lakeside Settlement and kill the infected dogs, which will spawn the same tentacle on their heads. When the enemies are finished, go to the house where the first chapter ended and use the small key to open the drawer on the left and get a gold ingot. Go to the basement. This time, there will be a red gem ring at the end of the basement.

Return to the boat and head to the western shore from the center of the lake, from where you set off at the end of the third chapter on the previous boat. I strongly recommend that you make a manual save before solving the puzzle, as there are many combinations. The puzzle can be solved in two moves, but if you start guessing, then only aggravate the situation. Return to the merchant and save at the typewriter. So, on the pier where the boat was refueled, look for an altar where you need to install the three hexagons found. You can only rotate top, left and right. On the minimum and normal difficulty levels, the puzzle is solved in 2 moves: turn the left hexagon once, turn the top one once. On the Hardcore or Professional mode, you need to do the following: turn the right hexagon twice, the left hexagon twice, the top one once. If you made a mistake, Reload your last save and try again. Otherwise it will lead to confusion. After solving the puzzle and opening the altar, you will receive a depraved idol.

Return to the boat and move back to the pier where you started exploring the lake in this chapter. A large fish is swimming right in front of you, which you need to attack with a harpoon. If the fish didn’t show up, swim back across the lake and then come back. Smaller fish swim nearby, but you want the biggest one. Then sell it to the merchant (southwest of the lake).

Take the boat to the tunnel where the chapter started to return to the pier with the merchant. Sell him a golden egg and a large perch to free up space in your inventory and complete two quests. Return to the boat and swim through the tunnel to the west. You can find an altar that opens with a previously found key. Inside it is hidden a luxurious bracelet. Look up to find a metal cage. Shoot it down and pick up the alexandrite.

Return to the tunnel and collect the last items from the lake. There is another pier that allows you to get to a large temple in a cave. Move to the right (the door on the left is locked, but you will use it on the way back). As you progress through the cave, you will encounter several enemies. When the path bifurcates, take the left side, but watch out for an enemy up ahead who is ready to throw dynamite. Then go to the small cave on the right under the bridge. Look up to see a metal cage, knocking it down will give you a velvety gem.

Follow the path to the end of the cave and climb the stairs to the upper level. Along the way, you’ll notice more yellow symbols on the walls. As before, they correspond to the buttons on the console by the locked door. Press the three correct buttons to open the door, go into the small room and take the renegade’s head.

Return to the cave with the fresco to place both heads and collect the coat of arms of the church. To get back to the boat faster, you can go through the metal door leading directly to the pier. Now you need to return to the church where you were in the third chapter. The fastest (and recommended) way is to go through the merchant’s shop, rising from the lower dock. Make sure to save and stock up on supplies as there is a boss fight ahead. Go through the door back to the quarry and open another altar to get a butterfly lamp.

How to beat El Gigante

In the career you are attacked by a giant (for fans of the series, El Gigante). You need to defeat this boss in order to return to the church. Two small supply buildings have opened up in this area. In addition to supplies, you can use them for a break. At the beginning of the fight, shoot the giant’s head. Eventually, a parasite will come out of his back. At this point, switch to it already. If you rescued the dog from the trap in the third chapter, it will appear after a few seconds and will distract the giant, which will make it easier to destroy the parasite. When you deal enough damage, it will temporarily fall to the ground. Run closer and attack by pressing the key from the hint. Keep dodging attacks and repeat actions until he dies. The giant drops a yellow gem – don’t forget to pick it up. When the boss is defeated, the quarry gate will open, and you can go back to the church. A dog will appear at the entrance. After killing her, place the church coat of arms on the gate to open the door.

Enter the church and go to the altar ahead. There is a small key on the table to the right. You can return from the church to the nearest room with a typewriter (the door on the right on the outer wall of the church) to use a small key on a locked box and get a yellow gem. If you miss an item in this chapter, you can still pick it up in the next one. Back at the church, go around the right side of the main room and open the closet at the end to find a blue clock face. Climb back to the front of the room and pull the lever on the left side to open the altar. Set the blue dial. Use the blue, green, and red buttons to rotate the patterns to create a single piece of stained glass.

Glasses should fill the entire space and at the same time not overlap each other. This will open the gate on the left side of the room and go up to the second floor. Interact with the door to complete the chapter.

Chapter 5

At the beginning of the chapter, before you go anywhere, turn around and enter the room where the previous chapter ended. Shoot the metal cage hanging from the ceiling to get a yellow gem. Walk back through the region to find a spot to raise Ashley to. She will lower the ladder and you will be able to follow, get out through the window and be outside the church.

The current goal is to go back through the village to the north. First, remove the closet blocking the path to the area in front of the church. The trophy can be obtained at any time, but if you want to do it right now, let the enemies come and pick Ashley up. While the enemy is trying to take Ashley away, shoot him to save the girl and get the achievement. Move through the cemetery back to the square. You can fight enemies or bypass them. New ones will appear in the graveyard, but you can bypass many through the middle and escape. They will stop chasing you as soon as you get to the merchant.

Trader’s Request: Vicious Dog

On the wall next to the merchant outside the town hall, there is a blue note with a new quest related to the elimination of a special enemy that appears only in this chapter. You will have to go through several sections before the enemy appears. Return to the square and approach the locked building in the northwest corner, which could not be entered before. Interact with the yellow ledge on the side to lift Ashley up. She will open the door and you can get inside to find a chest with an elegant bracelet. Return to the village chief’s mansion to the south. Climb up to the bedroom, where you found the key with the symbol. Interact with the crooked painting on the wall to remove it and reveal the lever. Pull on it to open the hatch in the attic, where you can lift Ashley, who will drop the ladder. In the attic, go along the left wall, and find a clockwork keeper behind the barrel. Continue along this wall around the perimeter of the attic to find a place to crawl under and grab the antique from the closet.

Exit and return to the village square, where a unique mongrel will appear. Defeat her to complete the merchant’s order. Fight this mongrel in the same way as with the rest of the infected dogs. It’s just that this mob has much more health. Sometimes he will fall to the ground and you can melee him.

Now you need to return to the farm, although the path there is blocked by a fallen tower and part of the destroyed houses. You can either go through the last house, killing the enemy inside it, or climb the stairs in the western part to get to the upper platform, and then move towards the farm. On the territory of the farm there will be new enemies who will have to be killed. Among them will be one thug without a hammer, just trying to ram you. After dealing with the mobs, go to the second barn and open the altar located behind it (with a key with a symbol) to get an ancient pipe. Enter the mill and stop at the merchant on the right. This is your last visit to this area, so make sure you collect all the items. Make a manual save in a separate cell and don’t touch it. Go across the bridge to the house and watch the cut-scene.

After that, you will have to defend the house with Louis from enemies who are trying to get through the windows and doors. Windows can be blocked with shelves and wooden boards that are lying on the floor or lying on the table. Occasionally they will drop from enemies. Place the first planks on the window by the stairs to focus on the enemies climbing in through the window farthest from the stairs. In the first part of the combat scenario, stay downstairs with Luis, who is great at dealing with enemies. Kill only those opponents who are close to you. After a while, you will see a cut-scene with stairs that the mobs use to get to the second floor. Louis will tell you to go upstairs. Do so and drop the ladder to stop the enemy invasion. The madmen will still raise the ladders to the windows, and you keep knocking them down, dealing with enemies. After a while, another cut-scene will start, in which a thug with a hammer will burst into the house. The chapter will end in 1-2 minutes. Let the thug rise to you. Shoot, and when he is in close proximity, jump over the railing. As long as it moves towards you, keep damaging the mob. Kill the thug or not, but Ashley will open the door, and the cut-scene will start, ending the chapter.

Chapter 6

At the beginning of the chapter, you will enter a new area. Returning to the previous region of the village will not work. Follow forward to find a merchant. After replenishing supplies, go through the gate to the next area. You will find a long battle with enemies, including Molotov throwers, located on the upper platforms. If you have a rifle, shoot at the enemy while standing at the entrance to the region. Until you go down there, the rest of the enemies will not aggro. Move through the area, and when even one enemy notices you, an alarm will be raised, and everyone else in the area will know about your presence. Keep shooting them as they run towards you. There is also one brute without a hammer, but you already know how to deal with him. After killing the enemies, head up the stairs on the left to find a yellow diamond hidden in a chest at the top of the stairs.

Search the area before continuing: there are several useful supplies hidden in the huts and around the corners. Go through the next gate. Enter the first house on the left, where there will be one enemy, as well as a chest with a chalice of atonement. Leave the building and continue along the path. Look to the right towards the fire to find a clockwork keeper. If you entered the zone where the checkpoint worked, then you were too far away – go back and find the fire.

Go to the open area, but the door will be locked. You need a handle to open it. You can get it only after the destruction of strong enemies. Deal with the handful of mobs already in the area, then head up the stairs to reach the top of the main building. Approach the locker and ask Ashley to hide inside it. When you do this, she will stay in the closet until you call her, so now the girl is completely safe. Enemies will not be able to attack or drag her with them. Go through the door to the left of the locker, and look on the platform for the last altar for the key to the old chapel found by the lake. You will receive an elegant head decoration. You can check out the rest of the area and gather supplies, then when you’re ready, head down to the bottom floor of the building (stairs, through the locked door to the north). Go to the south wall to find the handle. Interaction with her will lead to the appearance of two women with a chainsaw, and in order to get the handle, you will have to destroy them (as well as ordinary mobs).

The chainsaw sisters will break through the wall and attack Leon, along with the normal villagers who enter through the side doors. The sisters are like the standard chainsaw guys you dealt with, only now they’re two of them at the same time. If you have grenades in your inventory, it’s time to use them. Throw a grenade at the moment the sisters appear to damage both. When they are defeated, pick up the handle that one of them drops. When all the enemies are finished, you can call Ashley, then go to the gate to the south and use the crank to open the way further. Get to the next gate.

After the cut-scene, you will be chased by Mendes and regular mobs. Do not try to shoot back from the headman. Just turn around and start running up the path. If you have flashbang grenades, you can throw one to stun the villagers and run past. When you notice a red barrel ahead, shoot it to get rid of a group of villagers. When you get to the very end, you will see two more residents blocking the passage next to the cart. You’ll probably have to shoot them a couple of times. After the cart, turn left and go past the cart to trigger a cutscene that marks the end of the chase. Follow the wooden walkways to the next area, where you will find the last merchant’s shop in the current chapter. Do whatever it takes, you can sell the key to the old chapel as you don’t need it anymore. As well as other values collected earlier.

How to beat Head Boy Mendez

The battle against Mendez will begin, which is divided into two stages. In the first stage, he moves on the ground, so you need to climb the stairs to get to the upper platform. It can still attack you from below using its long tentacles. When you see a hint, press the indicated key to dodge. Shoot at the enemy (the shotgun is especially good), and when you deal enough damage, he will be stunned. Press the indicated key to jump down and melee attack Mendez.

After a while, the second phase will begin. Mendez will lose his legs and hang from the rafters. When he is at the far end of the room, he will alternate between throwing burning planks at you, which you need to dodge (run away to the sides), and explosive barrels, which you need to shoot at to damage the enemy and avoid oncoming damage. After a few throws, he will move towards Leon and start attacking with his paws. You can avoid damage by going the other way. Even at this stage, Mendez can get stunned, in which case you can again jump on top of him and attack from close range.

After Mendez is defeated, take the false eye from the corpse. It’s not a treasure, you don’t need an eye to count collectibles, but you can sell it for 12,000 pesos. Jump out the window, shoot the metal cage on the tree to get the last treasure in the villages. If you have found all the treasures that we talked about earlier, you will receive the “Rogue” achievement. After that, go to the car on the right.

Chapter 7

At the beginning of the castle, open the first door on the right to find a merchant. Buy a castle treasure map from him so that markers of all the treasures in the region appear on the regular map, and a progress counter is added in the lower right corner. You can improve equipment, get rid of excess, buy supplies. Among other things, the Blacktail pistol and the Stingray rifle went on sale – a much higher quality weapon compared to the previous options, although I am leaning between Blacktail and Red9. Leave the merchant’s room and move along the right wall around the building. Behind him you can find a chest with a vintage compass.

Move to the castle. After several rooms, you will find the first enemy, which is infected with a more advanced parasite. Instead of the tentacle that appeared from the villagers, the monk will crawl out a huge parasite resembling a worm. This worm has a smaller radius of damage, but a higher health reserve. After defeating the enemy, a shoe knife will drop out – this is the first location where you can get such a weapon. These are disposable knives, like kitchen knives, although they are much more durable. The castle has many broken vases with supplies hidden inside. Barrels with boxes will also flash.

Keep walking forward to reach the outer section. There will be several enemies in this area firing crossbows. You can run forward and avoid the battle, or hide behind the wall on the left and shoot all the opponents, since they will not be able to hit you from here. Follow forward and, once on the stairs, look to the left. Look through the window and see a metal cage with yellow paint. After shooting at it, you will raise the cannon up, and you will be able to go down into the room. When using a cannon, you can take damage from multiple catapult shots.

Move on, kill the enemies while staying on the stairs, as the catapults won’t reach you here. Climb the stairs and move on the right side to turn around to the building without a roof. There is one enemy here that should be eliminated, after which you can use this place to deal with part of the catapults. If noticed during the previous scene, there is a red barrel next to each catapult. If you shoot at it, the explosion will destroy the cannon itself. If you look over the left wall (facing the location of the cannon), you can shoot the red barrel and destroy the catapult on the left side. Move towards the cannon, avoiding the fire of the catapult. Look for the red barrel by the far left catapult. Shoot it from here and the device will be destroyed. The same – with another catapult.

When you destroy all these catapults, the last one will remain, opposite the cannon. You can safely use the cannon and destroy it. Then shoot at the castle gate a little to the left to open the way further. You can also use the cannon to kill enemies. This action will earn the “Burst” achievement. If you miss this moment, do not worry, a little later you will be able to use the cannon again, in a battle with the armored El Gigante.

Trader’s Request: Destroy Blue Medallions 3

Go through the gate that was destroyed by a cannon shot. Behind them will be another blue note with an order from the merchant. Hangs on the wall. To complete the task, you need to destroy 6 blue medallions.

  • Blue Medallion 1. Return to the location of the cannon to find the first medallion in the ruined walls to the side of it.
  • Blue medallion 2. In the upper window of the ruins opposite the cannon, if you stand next to it and look to the north. If you can’t hit him, feel free to stand behind the cannon and shoot at the medallion. You can also do the following.
  • Blue medallion 3. Hanging on the wall just above the second medallion.
  • Blue medallion 4. Next to the cannon, jump into the room where the counterweight (and the cannon itself) was. The medallion hangs from the ceiling.
  • Blue medallion 5. From the last location, go up the stairs and look left and down in the direction you came up here.
  • Blue medallion 6. Return to the main area. Before you go through the door, turn left and find the last medallion. If my memory serves me right, this is in the place where one of the catapults was, under it, a little lower and to the right, behind destructible barrels.

To the right of the last medallion is a chest with an elegant bracelet. Once you’ve dealt with everything, return through the destroyed wall and go through the door into the castle. You can talk to the merchant to get the quest reward, then head to the main hall for a cutscene. You will have to fight with many enemies. This will be your first baptism of fire with warriors using shields and a metal helmet. Wooden shields block some of the damage, but you can destroy them with a shot from any weapon. It’s best to fire your shotgun to destroy the shield immediately. Enemies wearing a metal helmet are protected from damage from headshots, so you will have to shoot at the body or legs. Once all the enemies are defeated, you will have to look for a way out of the hall. On the left side of the room there is a place where you can throw Ashley,

Go through the opened gate and turn right to find a chest at the end of the corridor, which contains an elegant bottle of perfume. Squeeze through the gap, turn left and knock down the metal cage under the ceiling and get the Ruby. Go to the next area to enter the dungeon. Move through the door on the left to the very end to get the key to the dungeon (on the corpse).

After picking up the key to the dungeon, you will fall down and find the first Garrador. These enemies can’t see, but they can hear very well, so when fighting them, remember that you can run, duck, and hide. You can even earn an achievement if you kill one of the Garradors with knives. This is the first Garrador that you will fight, but there will be others in the future, but they will be surrounded by normal opponents, so the task will become much more difficult. The easiest way is to run from the enemy into a room with wooden walls before he breaks free, then crouch and stand somewhere against the wall. Don’t touch the hanging chains as this will make a noise and alert Garrador. When he enters the room, sneak up behind him for a hint about the possibility of a melee attack. Attack the enemy in the back, then move away, while it spins around. For a while, the parasite will disappear from the back. Repeat the steps until Garrador is dead. Alternatively, you can fight him head-on and just heal, but the stealth method is safer and useful on higher difficulties. Yes, and in terms of conservation supplies.

Once you’re done with Garrador, turn the handle to open the gate and leave the room. Drive in the opposite direction to reunite with Ashley. Then use the dungeon key to open the main door. Climb the stairs to get into the pantry. On the way here, look inside the locker for a spinel. To the right of the previous item, there is a clockwork keeper located on the shelves in the center of the room. Go to the next room to reach the treasure room where you need to solve a puzzle. First, you must remove three swords from the bas-reliefs on the walls. On the left side there is a large gate, and to the left of them – a rope. Pull it, then shoot the two icons behind the snake and eagle gate (both on the right side of the room). The gate will open and you can pick up the bloodied sword. Now to solve the puzzle,

  • an iron sword
  • golden sword
  • Bloodied Sword
  • rusty sword

This will open the nearest door. In the next corridor there will be a chest with a golden bracelet. Go into the next room to be on the upper level, above the audience hall. First go right to knock down the stairs to the bottom floor (and create a shortcut, though if you don’t, Ashley will knock the stairs down for you). Jump over the chandelier to the other side, turn right and drop down the hole to find yourself in front of a treasure chest that contains a golden hourglass. Return to the top floor. To open the way further, you need to activate specific gongs. Walk closer to the left door and shoot the gong. Jump over to the other side on the chandelier and shoot the gong located with the gate. In general, there is a hint on the wall with images of the desired animals.

Go through the large door on the top floor to enter the water room. You will have to move around the area, fighting enemies, and activating various mechanisms that allow you to go further. The enemies on the top floor take a long time to spawn, so you can simply avoid them by focusing on the target. Kill them only when they get in your way. To start, go down the left side of the room, where there is a ledge that you can jump down to the lower floor. Go to the center of the floor, where you can pick up the valve, which must be taken to the right side of the room with a pedestal, as on the main floor. Install and turn the valve to lower the ladder. Leon will automatically take the valve.

Return to the main area and kill new enemies, including those that will appear on the balconies. When you can use the valve, use it on the pedestal in the center to lower the ladders and go to the next area. Climb up there and turn the valve in the far corner to raise another part of the bridge. Help Ashley up the ledge on the left so she can turn the other two valves. While she is doing this, kill the enemies trying to kidnap the girl. Once both platforms are up, Ashley will jump down the nearest route and you can make your way to the exit. Push Ashley to the ledge in the next area to complete the chapter.

Chapter 8

Leon and Ashley are separated again, and the main character will again have to find the President’s daughter. From the starting point, turn left to see the merchant’s flame.

Note . There is a nest on the roof of the building you enter. If you knock it down, it will drop a scratched emerald. This emerald must be sold to a merchant in order to complete the Jewel Thief quest. You will find a note for this assignment only in chapter 12. You can knock it down right now and sell it and complete the quest.

Once you’re done with the merchant, head back to the castle and drop down into the next room. Look to the left through the curtains of the next room to see the enemy on the balcony. This is your first encounter with the Summoner, who turns all enemies into tentacle or worm versions over time. There are several ways to clear a room. The first is to shoot the Summoner from a safe distance and kill before he can transform anyone. If you decide to enter the room, you can sneak to the right and climb up the stairs to drop the chandelier on a few enemies and instantly kill them.

Whatever you decide to do, deal with the enemies in the room and head to where the Summoner died to get the Crimson Lantern you need to advance. Before returning, make sure to grab the Pearl and Ruby Mirror from the chest behind where the Summoner stood. Return to the previous room and interact with the statue on the left to place the crimson lantern and open the door. Go through it and you can open the door on the right to go back. Follow down and to the left until you reach a room where a cutscene will start.

After that you will be in the workshop. Open the treasure chest near the fire to get an extravagant watch. After that, you need to insert three stones into the door so that they match with the images next to it. First, you need to choose the image itself, and secondly, the frame, which can be square or hexagonal. All stones are in the same room, and the solution will be:

  • On the left – a red helmet in a hexagon
  • Above – a red shield in a square
  • On the right is a blue sword in a square
  • Below – blue armor in a hexagon

After solving the puzzle, go through the doorway and go forward until you see a creature running along the wall. Turn left and take the small key from the closet. Return to the workshop and use this key on the locked drawer to get a brass pocket watch. Walk back, continue down the new corridor and move the closet out of the way to encounter a mob with an arachnid on its back.

Get to another merchant’s shop, destroy the counterweight to raise the gate leading to the fortress walls. You will walk along the walls, trying to get back to the castle. First, shoot at the counterweight to the left of the bridge to lower it and hit the adjacent tower (after killing the enemies). At this point, you will first see a toggle switch that allows you to switch between the images of the sun and the moon, which in turn raises one and lowers the other gates in the area. Do not touch the first toggle switch, but instead go up the stairs on the left to the second floor. Drop down through the hole back to the bottom floor and go through the door on the other side. Drop down to the next area, turn around and follow through the corridor. After dealing with a few enemies, continue to the right to find another switch. This time interact with him. Continue through the opened door, climbing up the embankment on the other side. Immediately go to the left and jump down through the hole in the floor to the first tier.

Turn around and go past the two enemies, but don’t go up the stairs. Opposite the stairs is another door with a chest containing an ornate necklace. After picking it up, climb the stairs to the second floor, continue climbing higher until you reach the upper tier. You will meet El Gigante throwing stones. To avoid damage, hide behind objects along the battlements. Do not try to shoot him, as he is protected by strong armor, and conventional weapons will not do damage.

To start, jump down the battlements back to where you just came from, to the east, and up the stairs outside the tower. Deal with the enemies on the roof, then circle past the debris to find the clockwork keeper. Climb to the center of the tower, where you will find a chest with an emerald.

Jump off the tower and head west. Shoot at the counterweight to return to the previous tower, then climb to the top and continue west. You must get close to the abyss with two enemies on the other side. Go down below, turn around and go through the door. Toggle the sun/moon toggle switch to swap the doors. Drop down to the lower floor through the opened door and turn around to enter the room behind you. Look up to the ceiling to see a metal cage with a ruby.

After picking up the moment, climb the stairs along the outer wall to return to the middle tier. Go through the opened door to the last tower where the cannon is located. There are two counterweights here that you need to shoot at: one on the current floor and another on the level above. After that, the gun will rise. Follow her and use it to hit El Gigante. Turn the cannon to the left and destroy the door blocking the way. Use it to kill the enemies that come through this door. Jump off the tower and complete the chapter.

Chapter 9

At the beginning of the chapter, you will be reunited with Ashley and will have to go through the castle together. Search the room, collect supplies, exit through the door to the courtyard and go down the stairs. If you didn’t get the “Close Your Eyes” trophy before, you can earn an achievement in this place, since there are several crows in the central part of the courtyard. Climb the tower near the center and the steps leading to the closed door and pull the lever to raise the first flag. There are three of these levers in this area, and you need to activate each one in order to leave the courtyard. Jump down and (relative to the entrance) go left. Use the map so you don’t get lost as it shows the entire maze. Follow this path to get to the northwest corner, under the balcony where you came from. In the corner, behind a pile of rubbish, look for another clockwork caretaker.

Follow the other path to get to the northeast corner of the maze. Watch out for the dogs that are sitting in the cage – in a few seconds they will break out and attack Leon. Just behind the place where the dogs were, look for a small niche in the wall. Inside it is a chest with an elegant chessboard. Continue moving southeast to find the second tower. Immediately go south, where there will be a locked door that you can go through. Follow this path to the southwest corner. Ask Ashley to stick to the lever that will open the gate from the other side. Run through the gate to get to the last tower. Pulling the lever will open a door at the end of the courtyard, through which new enemies will pass. Jump down and quickly get back to Ashley as the mobs are trying to kidnap her.

Once you’ve dealt with everyone, but before heading east, head west through the opened gate and into the wine cellar. Behind the locked door that you couldn’t open in the eighth chapter, there will be a chest with a depraved idol. Push Ashley to the gap so that she opens the door. This is the treasure most often overlooked by many. You won’t be able to get it in later chapters, so if you haven’t picked it up, go back and do it right now. Exit the maze through the east door to enter a large hall.

Before you enter the merchant’s room, you can shoot the metal cage hanging from the statue on the right and get an alexandrite. There is a typewriter in the room. Enter the elevator next to the merchant to find the second shooting range. Be sure to achieve an S rank in all 3 new shooting range challenges to further unlock the Legend of the Shooting Range achievement. However, there is one more shooting range in the game, which means you need to earn an S rank in 9 different challenges.

Trader’s Request: Destroy Blue Medallions 4

There is a blue note in the room with the merchant, after reading it, you will start a new quest. It is necessary to destroy 6 medallions, which are scattered in different parts of this part of the castle.

  • Blue medallion 1. Go back to the door through which you came from the labyrinth. On the side will be the first medallion.
  • Blue medallion 2. Go to the other end of the big hall and you can find the medallion behind the headless statue.

Trader’s Request: More Pest Control

On the wall to the left of the headless statue, there is another blue note with a new assignment, according to which you need to kill three rats. Two rats can be found in the ninth chapter, another one in the tenth.

  • Rat 1. Go through the nearest door to the dining room and find the first rat here.

In the dining room, you need to solve a puzzle to get the snake head out of the cage. To do this, you need to sit with Ashley on the correct chairs, in accordance with the portrait, which depicts the king and queen, and then hit the bell. Have Ashley sit at the Queen’s dinner table. She should sit in the second chair on the right, Leon in the last chair on the left. If you move from portraits.

  • Blue Medallion 3. While in the dining room, go to the north end and look through the last window on the right to find a new medallion.
  • Blue medallion 4. Return to the large hall and go up the stairs to the second floor. Turn left at the chandelier and shoot the medallion hanging from it. Go to the north room on the second floor. Open the cabinet in the far left corner and take the small key.
  • Blue medallion 5. Follow the armory, but do not rush to go down (if you do, you will have to return here later). Move to the right side to see a blue medallion hanging above the throne.

Jump down and take the lion’s head from the statue. After that, the armor will come to life (in fact, infected people are hiding inside). Shoot at the unprotected part of the neck first. After dealing a small amount of damage, such enemies will usually get stunned and you can melee them to knock off the helmet. Then tentacles will grow out of the neck, which you can damage, as you did earlier. Once all the armor is destroyed, go to the ledge with Ashley and help the girl jump down. Together with her, interact with two statues to open the exit. In the corridor after exiting the armory, you can find a chest with a cube device. It is not considered treasure, but is required to obtain some rare items, including an assault rifle.

  • Rat 2. In the same corridor after exiting the armory, look for a second rat.

Go through the door to return to the great hall, go up the stairs on the other side of the room and open the other door leading south to enter the gallery. Move forward along the bridge, but one of the enemies will pull the lever, and you will find yourself at the bottom. There is also a Summoner here, so he is a priority target for you. After defeating everyone, climb up and pull the lever to raise the bridge up.

  • Blue medallion 6. When all the enemies are destroyed, stay on the lower floor of the gallery and go to the end of the path along the lowered bridge. Look for the last medallion hanging from the back of the pillar in the corner.

After raising the path back, follow down and look for a chest with a yellow gem. Once you’ve finished searching the floor, go up the stairs and grab the goat’s head. Return to the great hall. Do not rush to install all the heads, because right now you can pick up some of the collectibles. Return to the merchant in the large hall and use the cubic device on the locked cabinet. Rotate the cube so that its notches and bulges match the slots in the hole. Inside is a lamp with butterflies.

Go through the door next to the merchant and use the gold cart. You will return to the hall with water, and from there follow to the audience hall. There are several enemies here, including the Summoner. Deal with them before trying to take the remaining treasure. Go to the northwest corner of the room where there is another locked crate. Place the cube and take the figurine of Justice. Walk along the wall to the east, where there is a locked pedestal. Use the small key to get a gold ingot. Return to the great hall on the gondola and place all three heads on the statue.

Note . There are three treasures in this area that are important to pick up before the end of the chapter. If you do not pick them up now, you will miss the opportunity for the entire passage.

After that, you will control Ashley. We need to find a way to free Leon. Pick up the lantern from the pedestal to reveal a path, follow the hallway to the library. Move to the south of the room, where there will be another pedestal. Place a lantern on it to move the shelves, go through and turn the handle to lower the ladder to the mezzanine. Go back, take the lantern and go up the stairs. There is a bunch of keys on the table. Go back down and go around the revived armor, while the bright light from the lantern can temporarily stun them. Make your way under the bookshelves at the west side of the room to find a chest. Use the second key from the left on the bunch to get an elegant perfume bottle. Crouch down and go to the north end of the room where the locked elevator is. Use the third key from left to right to open the door and activate the elevator.

In the next room, go to the left side to find a chest. Use the fourth bundle key to get a sapphire. Move in the opposite direction, where you will find a grandfather clock. Using the hint from the table in the same room, set the correct time – 11:04 on easy and standard difficulties, 7:00 on hardcore and pro.

Return the same way through the library to where you took the lantern and started the episode for Ashley. There is another grandfather clock in this room that needs to be set to the same time. Go to the opened corridor and go down the elevator. The next room has a door with symbols that match the gongs. There are four gongs in total in this room, and you need to activate each one, but keep in mind that after each hit, the “armor” will wake up. Start at the northwest symbol and move in a circle so that when you strike the last gong, you will be at the opened door.

Go through this door, go around the wooden wall to find the last chest. Use the first key to open it and get an emerald. Move through the mausoleum until you reach a lamp puzzle. Place the lamps on the correct plinths. Each lamp projects a certain shape onto the wall. You can change one lamp for another. Behind should be a full moon, on the left – a crescent, on the right – a cross. Take the plot item – Salazar’s family crest.

When you do this, the blue light will disappear and enemies will start chasing you. In fact, you need to run and return to where you saw Leon, to the room with the typewriter. To dodge enemies, run towards them, and when they start to dodge and try to catch you, dodge left or right. Place the sign on the locked grate to complete the chapter.

Chapter 10

You again play as Leon, who will be able to get out of the cage, but Ashley has been kidnapped again. Near the door you have to go through, there are treasures lying on the floor – all the ones that Ashley picked up. They are already counted towards receiving trophies, but still pick up to subsequently sell to a merchant.

Trader’s Request: Merciless Knight

Go into the room and look for a blue note on the cabinet on the right side. You will be able to complete the task in the near future – for this you need to return to the mausoleum area in which you were just in the role of Ashley.

  • Rat 3 (for the quest from Chapter 8 “More Pest Control”). Go through the door on the right and in the room with stuffed animals on the walls, kill the last rodent.

Follow down into the Mausoleum to see an enemy in golden armor, surrounded by standard enemies. Kill everyone. To deal damage to the golden armor, you need to go around the enemy and attack the exposed neck from behind. If you have flashbang grenades, you can stun three knights and then shoot at the weak spot until their tentacles appear. There will be useful ordinary grenades. Return to the library to the place where you found a bunch of keys as Ashley. Use the cube device on the opposite wall where there is a square hole to find a CQBR assault rifle. If there is not enough space in the inventory, send the weapon to storage. You must pick up this weapon in order for it to count towards the treasure and weapon collection achievements. This item will turn into a gold ingot (L) if you found the weapon in a previous playthrough. Go to the room with the typewriter above the library, where the Salazar coat of arms was used in the ninth chapter. Use the cube device on the square hole to get the golden lynx.

You can go through the door that was opened as Ashley. Walk to the right and drop down the stairs to return to the large hall. Check out the merchant if you want to sell items. Please note that you can now upgrade weapons to the fifth level. And if you buy all the upgrades for one weapon, you can install an exclusive one on it (the bonus for each weapon is different). When you install the first exclusive upgrade, you will unlock the Masterpiece trophy. Go back through the room you went through earlier to get to the library. This time go through the east door in the direction of the objective. You will encounter enemies of this type for the first time – flying beetles, which are able to camouflage themselves in the environment like a chameleon.

You can’t open the big door ahead. Jump over the railing on the left and up the stairs. You will be taken to the upper balcony of the ballroom. Here you need to activate two switches to raise the gate at the end. The room is full of flying insects, some of which camouflage on the ground and walls. Go down the stairs to the first floor and go to the center, where there is a pile of debris. Notice the hanging cage. Shoot it down to get a ruby. Go around the north side of the hall, where there are shelves near the stairs. Follow them to the ledge. Behind which will be a chest with a decorated beetle. Climb the stairs nearby to get to the upper level. Beware of enemies. Pull the lever at the end of the balcony. Jump down to the right, return to the center of the room and go up the stairs leading south. Pull the lever to open the gate to the east of the room. Go through them.

In the next area, you need to shoot two counterweights to lower the bridge. Counterweights are located on two different sides of the bridge. To see the left one, go to the viewpoint a little to the left, as it is hidden behind the wall. When you get to the lobby, you will have to fight two Garradors. This is a more difficult fight compared to the solo Garrador in the dungeon. You won’t be able to sneak all the time. Instead, I recommend killing normal enemies. and only then will it be possible to use the fact that the Garradors cannot see you. Pick up two horns from dead Garradors and place them on the statues by the door to open it and leave this place.

After going through the door, watch the cut-scene, after which you will find yourself in the depths of the castle. This is a linear area, and you need to move through the water, killing the hiding enemies. at the end of the area you will climb onto a stone structure. On the side, on the corpse, look for an elegant crown. Break the wall on the left, make your way through it, go up the stairs and go through the tunnel. In the niche on the left side there is a metal cage, inside of which is red beryl.

Go to the merchant. In your inventory, combine an elegant crown with 2 yellow diamonds and 3 red beryls to sell the item for 100,000 pesos and get the Smart Jeweler achievement. You can do the same if you set five stones of different colors. If you don’t have enough stones, save the crown and do it later. Please note that you can exchange spinels at the merchant for one yellow diamond and red beryl if you have not already done so. Next to the merchant in the sewers there is another clockwork caretaker, suspended upside down, behind bars. Get as close as you can so you can see it.

Continue following this route to reach the underground laboratory. You won’t be able to use the elevator as there is no electricity, so you need to get to the end of the area and turn on the power. Enter the room on the right by pulling the lever to open the door at the far end of the tunnel. When the gate opens, continue to the end of the corridor. Be careful, tentacles will start to appear from behind the bars in the floor and ceiling. Be sure to dodge by pressing the indicated key. Interact with the switch to apply power.

After turning on the power, Verdugo will appear. You may miss the opportunity to get a trophy, because in fact it is not necessary to kill Verdugo: you can wait for the elevator to arrive and leave the location. The easiest way to kill an enemy is to use panels on the walls that are powered up to freeze the boss. When it is frozen for the first time, a prompt will appear about being able to melee attack the enemy to deal additional damage. Keep shooting at the enemy while he is stationary. Keep freezing the boss with other panels. Repeat until you defeat the enemy. Before you leave the location, be sure to return to the room with the first switch, and open the gate opposite. Go to the end of the room and find a chest with a yellow diamond. Once you’re done with the lab, enter the elevator to complete the chapter.

Chapter 11

At the beginning of the chapter, there will be a merchant nearby and the next shooting range. This set will have three trials at once (3A, 3B, 3C). To achieve this, get an S rank in each. Climb the stairs to the platform above and soon you will encounter a stone blocking the path. You have to make a detour to pick up the dynamite and blow it up (although if you have an infinite rocket launcher, you can just shoot at the rock). Go to the side tunnel and kill the enemies. Get to the passage on the opposite side of the room. First you need to lower the bridge. Climb the stairs at the closed building on the left and pull the lever on the second floor. You can go down the stairs to the building to open the door, and then go up the path opposite. At the top of the stairs, look to the left to find a metal cage with a sapphire.

Turn around and cross the lowered bridge. Enter the room on the left and take out the dynamite from the box. Keep going on top and in the niche on the left you will find a chest with a golden hourglass. Return to the stone and blow up with dynamite.

Battle with two El Gigante

In the next room, you will be fighting two El Gigantes. One of them is armored, and the other is not protected in any way. There is a special way that you can kill both of them without spending any ammo. In the case of an unarmored one, shoot at him until a parasite appears on his back. When the giant is on the grate in the center, stun by shooting at the parasite. Interact with the console to open the grate and drop the enemy into the lava. The second giant is harder to damage because it is armored. Dodge his attacks for a few minutes, then Luis will run away and return with dynamite. Move El Gigante closer to Luis so that he places the dynamite on his back. Shoot the explosives to destroy the armor and reveal the parasite. Repeat the same steps with the stun in the center and the opening of the grate. Help Luis get over the wall

In the next area, you will find a cart. To get this achievement, you need to ride both carts without taking any damage. Health is displayed in the lower right corner. If you get corrupted, just load the latest autosave. In order not to fly off the rail, lean in the direction where they go. Fortunately, the trip is divided into stages. You do not have to bend down and shoot enemies. You will have unlimited ammo, and you will shoot from the Red9 pistol. As soon as you complete the first trip, the cart will automatically stop.

Climb into the station building and deal with the enemies. Exit to the balcony on the other side and you can find a treasure chest. To the right of the chest, on top of the wall is a clockwork keeper. When you’re ready, get on the next cart and keep avoiding damage. The main difference from the first trip in the appearance of a guy with a chainsaw – shoot him in the head every time he raises his weapon. After the trip, you will find yourself in the Hive area. This is a linear section. You need to go through the area and get to the elevator. When the platform collapses, follow down to reach a new area and start a detour.

Trader’s Request: Insect Hive

In the east of the Hive area, behind an explosive barrel on a wooden pallet, you can find a blue note with an assignment. You need to destroy four growths on a huge beehive from above. These are yellow glowing bags in the center of the location.

  • Hive 1. From the quest location, turn left and look up. Shoot the yellow glowing bag until it explodes (it will take about 5-6 bullets).
  • Hive 2. Go up from where the quest starts, and before you enter the tunnel, look up to the left to find the second hive.

Keep moving, turn down the tunnel, find an explosive barrel and shoot it. After blowing up the rubble, you will find a chest with a gold ingot (L).

  • Hive 3, 4. Immediately after exiting the tunnel where you found the last treasure, shoot up at the two remaining hives.

Make your way under the wall on the right as you walk along the cliff to reach the last merchant and save point. After the cut-scenes near the elevator, you will have to fight Krauser. In this fight, use only the knife, don’t forget about parries and dodges. After a successful parry, you will be able to perform a couple of counter strikes. Use quick turns when the major jumps over you. You need to dodge one of the attacks – a hint will appear on the screen.

Chapter 12

You will automatically receive Louis’ key. Walk forward and take the elevator to return to the castle. Please note that this is the last chapter in the castle, so you need to collect everything that is hidden here. After taking the elevator up, you will enter a room to the north of the ballroom, which you previously could not enter. There is also a trolley leading to the chapel. To advance in the story, you need to use it, but first we will collect the remaining collectibles. There is the last small key on the railing to the right of the cart.

Trader’s Request: Jewel Thief

In the same area, a blue note hangs on the wall near the elevator and the merchant. You need to find and sell him a scratched emerald, which is hidden in a crow’s nest (we will indicate below). Please note that if you knocked him out of the nest earlier, then there will be no assignment.

Trader’s Request: Shame the Salazar family

On the same wall hangs another note with instructions. It is necessary to spoil the portrait, and this is described below. Return to the throne room where the portrait is located. To do this, go through the door opposite the trolley, the hall is located in the east. Use the cube device on the right side of the room to get a golden chicken egg. In the corner to the left of the throne is a small painting by Ramon Salazar. Open your inventory, click on the golden egg and equip it (don’t use it!), then throw it at the desired painting. If you throw it in the wrong one, exit the game and click “Continue” to respawn in front of this room. However, if you have an ordinary egg, you can throw it instead of a gold one, and sell the gold one to a merchant.

Return to the courtyard and go through the gate to the west. Look north towards the merchant room. From here you can knock down a crow’s nest, then pick up a scratched emerald and sell the item to a merchant.

As for the last item in the castle, you need to return to the battlements across the courtyard (where you met Ashley at the end of the eighth chapter). In the place where the giant fell through, on the right side there is a passage through which you can return to the tower. On the bottom floor of the tower, there is a locked box that can be opened with a recently found small key. You will receive a decorated beetle. When you have collected all the remaining items and are ready to leave, return to the cart and move to the chapel.

After entering the chapel, before going anywhere, head left to the northwest corner of the room to find the clockwork keeper. Head south into the area for a lot of items. Look for a chest with a gold ingot. Deal with the enemies and start climbing the stairs. When you get to the second landing, don’t go through the center, but move towards the stairwell to find a metal cage. Shoot it down to get an alexandrite.

Keep going up. In the next two sections where you have to dodge the fire-breathing statue, wait for it to turn in your direction and stop, then run to the other side. Keep going up until you reach the next part of the stairs. As you head towards the enemy group, you’ll see a cut-scene in which the enemy will start dropping metal balls rolling down the stairs. Keep moving up, dodging the orbs on the left side of the grounds. When you get to the top, deal with the enemy at the lever and pull him to drop the ball on the remaining enemies. You can go down the stairs and pick up supplies. Where the lever was, jump down to the platform, go right across the broken railing and find a chest with a mirror containing pearls and rubies. You can go down to the lower part and find a chest with an extravagant clock near the stairs.

Note . By pulling the lever on the platform, you will start the point of no return (upward trip), after which you will no longer be able to move around the castle. So make sure you collect everything in this area.

When you’re ready, pull the lever to activate the elevator and don’t let the enemies jump onto your platform. To get the achievement, you can’t let enemies stay on the platform for more than a second. If you hear Leon’s comments, restart the game. At the top, go through the door and make your way under the boards. After the first set, look to the left to find a metal cage. Shoot it to get a yellow diamond. If you have collected all the treasures in the castle, you will receive the “Plunderer” achievement. You can go through the door on the left and get to the last merchant of the chapter. Prepare for battle, then enter the next building.

How to beat Ramon Salazar

We’ll have to destroy the mutated Ramon Salazar. It moves around the room on long tentacles, then either shoots slime, or throws it on the ground, which explodes when you approach, or tries to ram Leon. Most attacks are easier to avoid if you move around the arena and make sure that there are some kind of ladder structures between you and Salazar. Any of his attacks are easily telegraphed as Ramon stops and looks at you. To damage the boss, shoot at his human body, in the mouth, or attack in melee when the boss falls to the floor. During the battle, in order to get the achievement “You talk a lot!”, you need to throw a grenade into the mouth of Salazar (meaning getting into his human body). If done correctly, the grenade will explode immediately instead of bouncing off the boss. If you run out of grenades during the battle, you can load the last autosave to try again. The best throw opportunity is when the boss sticks to the ceiling to spray you with black slime, as it stays in that spot for a long period of time.

Once Salazar has been defeated, search his corpse and collect the lipstick. Like the eye of Mendes, it is not a treasure, but the item can be sold to a merchant. Get out of the room. When you get to the boat house, interact with the boat to complete the chapter.

Chapter 13

You will be taken to the island, the last major location in the game. There will be more combat than exploration in this area, and in most scenarios you will be on your own. Follow the caves ahead. In the first section, turn right to the merchant and buy the island’s treasure map from him for 5 spinels. Turn around and go right to go behind the turret you saw earlier at the exit of the cave. They are scattered all over the island and can usually only be interacted with from behind. This will disable or move the turret to the side in order to pass further. After moving the turret, exit the cave to the first location with a combat scenario. An alarm will sound and you will be attacked by enemies. Stop and watch the window of the building on the right. Enemies will go through it, and you can kill most of them from a distance. They will not be able to bypass you from the left flank, because there are turrets there.

Watch out for the thug that appears during the cutscene: he has a weapon mounted on his arm. Before the shot, the enemy will stop and raise his hand – you will have enough time to move to cover. Once you’ve dealt with the enemies, enter the building ahead and immediately turn left, around the wall where the turret is pointing. In the corner, look for a chest with a pearl bracelet. Climb the stairs in the same building to get to the second floor and then interact with the turret to deploy it. Jump down (avoiding where the turret is pointing), go around and activate the third turret so that it faces away from the door. With both turrets deployed, go through the buildings in the opposite direction, up the stairs and open the door to the next area.

Move on, killing enemies. When you get to the cave, go up the stairs to the next level. Sneak into the building on the right, stealthily destroying the enemy. There is a red barrel of explosives in the middle tunnel – shoot it to blow up the rubble and find a chest with a golden lynx. Move on until you encounter the first enemies using a metal shield. Unlike the wooden shields you encountered in the castle, normal shots won’t destroy them. However, by firing at shields with a shotgun, you can knock them out of enemy hands. Otherwise, parry enemy melee attacks or shoot in the legs. Go further and you will see a cut-scene in which they will show an enemy with a rocket launcher. Such enemies appear in several places on the island, they are easy to spot by the red laser sight. After a few seconds of aiming, the enemy will launch a rocket at you: either hide in cover, or have time to shoot at the enemy first. Deal with all the mobs and open the door to the next area.

Behind the gate there will be a path that goes to the left. Move there, go down the stairs on the right, where there will be other enemies, including another one with a rocket launcher. Deal with them and go to the southeast corner, to the loader. Hidden on the floor to the right of the loader, under a container on a truck, is a clockwork keeper. Look to the right for a chest with an elegant crown. Climb the stairs to the door that leads to the next building. There will be a stretch in front of the door that needs to be neutralized. In the next room on the right, look for a silver case with a velvety gem. The door on this floor is locked, so go upstairs to open it. You can lure enemies into tripwires. Go into the room and activate the console to open the door on the lower floor.

Enter the next room to find Ashley’s detention cell. Jump down and stealthily eliminate two enemies. Head up the stairs in the far corner of the room and follow the linear path through the entire area. One room before the second merchant’s shop in this chapter, you can find another silver case with a velvety gem. At the end of the path, pull the lever on the left to redirect the power. The task will be updated and you will be asked to get a level 3 key card.

After switching power, but before returning to the previous area, pull the lever by the large gate to raise it and create a shortcut. The door will remain open after you switch the power back on and you can go back. Return to the Dissection room and open the door on the left side. Break the glass shelf in the back to get red beryl. Go to the north end of the room, interact with the power console and solve the puzzle as shown in the screenshot below. This will open the door to the north of Dissection and you will be able to take the Level 1 Keycard.

Leave the room to face the first regenerator. With these mobs you will fight in different parts of the island. At the moment, you have no effective way to counter them. To kill such an enemy, you need to destroy 3 “hearts” hidden in the torso, but you can’t see them until you damage the belly, spending a lot of ammo. After 10 minutes, you will receive a special sight that will allow you to see the weak spots of all enemies, including regenerators. It is best to shoot off the leg of the enemy and run away from him. Enter the room in the southeast corner of Dissection where the regenador came from, break the glass in the left corner to get a gold ingot.

Return to the power control lever to redirect the energy to the left side. Go to the freezer on the left and use the level 1 card key. Solve the puzzle on the power console on the right to open the door and get the LE-5 submachine gun (optional). If there is no room in the inventory, send the item to storage so that it is considered found. Back in the main freezer room, insert the level 1 keycard into the console at the very end. Another regenerator will come out of the bag. Kill the enemy or just avoid him until the keycard upgrade process is completed. Take the item.

After getting the level 2 key card, exit the freezer and head south to the door you passed earlier. Now you can open it with a level 2 keycard. Go through the door after killing a couple of enemies and enter the incubation lab. Don’t shoot the flasks! Go to the back of the lab and in the case on the left, look for a biosensor sight – extremely useful for fighting regenerators. Before proceeding, make sure you have the SR M1903 and Stingray in your inventory, which you can buy from the merchant. Combine any rifle with a biosensor sight. Look through the scope at the regenerator, and you will see all the parasites hidden inside it (three in total). Shoot the three parasites inside the belly of the regenerator to finally kill the mob. You need to shoot so as to damage two parasites at the same time, and then you will get the achievement “Two bastards in one shot.” Inside the flask there is a regenerator with a wrench inside. Kill him and pick up the item that you need to use on the device in the back room. After opening the terminal, start the key card upgrade to level 3. When you insert the key card, enemies will run into the room. After pumping the map, open the door to the right of the laboratory and go to Ashley. Use the card key to open the door and complete the chapter.

Chapter 14

Leon teamed up with Ashley again. Before you go anywhere, head to the corner of Ashley’s cell to the right of the door and pick up the crystal ore. Leave the cell and look to the left for a place where Ashley can be lifted up to open the door.

Trader’s Request: Destroy Blue Medallions 5

To the left of the door leading to the merchant’s shop, there is a blue note with an assignment. Once again, and, I will say, not the last, you will have to destroy the blue medallions. They are all in the next area. They will be listed below.

There is another shooting range nearby. For the achievement, get an S rank in all challenges. When you’re ready, exit the room with the merchant. Look ahead to see a metal cage. Shoot it down and get alexandrite.

  • Blue medallion 1. Turn slightly to the left and look above the door through which you came here, the first medallion.
  • Blue medallion 2. Turn around and look to the left (to the right when exiting the doors) to see the next medallion on the side.

Climb the stairs and jump down to get to the cargo warehouse. Open the first container on the left to find a gold bracelet.

  • Blue medallion 3. Deal with the enemies and go under the structure on the left. Turn right at the wall to find the next medallion attached to the container.
  • Blue medallion 4. Turn right and go to the northern wall. Look for the next medallion next to the metal cages.
  • Blue medallion 5. Go up the stairs to the west. Before you go through the door, turn south and look for a medallion on a circular structure.

Go into the next room and keep to the left. Deal with the enemies, go to the end and look at the ceiling to see a metal cage with a velvety gem. Climb up the stairs and ask Ashley to hold the lever. This will open the door that is visible through the window. Jump down and go through the door, go left down the corridor to open the door at the very end. Opponents will appear in the room and attack Ashley. Go back up the stairs and free the girl.

When the enemies are finished, go through the opened door and jump into the sewers. In the southwest corner, after making your way under the bars, look for an emerald on the ground. Climb up to another platform and interact with the switch by the door. Calculate the time to press so that both arrows are in the red zone. In the next room, ask Ashley to hide in a locker. Go to the adjacent corridor and a regenerator will fall out of the wall. Deal with him using the scope. Then another, improved one will appear, and its weak point is on the head. He wears heavy armor and scatters spikes around when he dies.

Once you’ve completed the fight, call Ashley and go to the end of the corridor to another door with a switch. After opening the door, ask Ashley to hold the handle. You will create a bridge that allows you to cross to the other side. In the next room, look for a silver case on the counter that contains an ornate necklace. At the end of the path there will be another switch. Pull on it, but do not rush to leave the location. Turn left and look through the bars to where there are four enemies running towards Ashley. Shoot them from here. Go back to Ashley. When you come to a pile of garbage, another regenador will appear, which will turn into an improved version. Kill him right now or run to Ashley and she will lower the bridge. Back at Ashley, use the control panel to open the door.

Trader’s Request: More Pest Control

Go into the room with the merchant and look for the page with the order in front of him. You must kill four rats in the previous area. Make sure you return to the previous room before heading down to the next area, otherwise you’ll have to make a long trip back.

  • Rat 1. The first rat is at the entrance to the waste disposal area – the place through which you originally entered this area.
  • Rat 2. Ask Ashley to raise the bridge again. Immediately after the bridge, look for the second rat.
  • Rat 3, 4. At the end of the Waste Disposal region, where you activated the power and where the regenerator spawned.

Return to the merchant and go down to the large platform with Ashley. Interact with the crane to get Ashley inside and start smashing the wall. In this section, you need to protect the crane while Ashley breaks the wall. Most of the enemies attack Leon, but some try to climb into the crane and get to Ashley, which slows down the process. Move around the location as enemies appear from two directions. Soon, thugs with a hammer and a rocket launcher will appear, and then you will see a scene with the appearance of bugs. Once Ashley destroys the wall, finish off the remaining enemies and approach the crane.

Trader’s Request: The Wandering Dead

Go through the cracked wall and turn left to find another note on the box with the merchant’s order. You must kill a strong enemy that spawned in the incubation lab (where you made the level 3 keycard). Optionally go through the large gate nearby to return to the previous area and deal with the mutant. First, ask Ashley to hide in the locker. You will see a monster that is a mixture of a regenerator and an enhanced regenerator. He has spikes, and armor, and a bunch of parasites all over his body. Use the biosensor on the Stingray and defeating the monster will be a breeze.

After the victory, return to the broken wall and take the elevator up. In the Amber Storeroom, go to the northwest corner to find a crystal ore. Interact with the large amber in the southeast corner to trigger a cutscene. Go through the big gate to get into the tunnel. Head south through the tunnel along the right wall to enter a small building. On the locker is a clockwork caretaker.

Go down to the camp where the enemies are, look into the nearest tent and find a chest with a gold ingot (L). Go ahead, use the merchant’s services and save. Soon you will once again encounter Krauser.

How to beat Krauser a second time

The first stage is not a boss fight, but rather a puzzle, in which you need to get to the end of the location. At the beginning, he shoots at you from above. You can attack back so that the enemy jumps to Leon, and you fight him again with knives. Deal enough damage to him and Krauser will hide deep into the region. Follow through the ruins to the upper level, where there will be a handle. Turn it to open the gate you passed by to find the control. go to the next area and avoid the mines. Crouch and crawl under the first one (or destroy it with a pistol shot). Enter the niche to see and shoot the second one. There will be a trap on the floor. Dodge the shot, lean against the right wall and shoot the next mine. There will be turrets ahead that you need to shoot. Go right, into the tunnel with another turret and a trap. Follow to the end of the tunnel, look through the hole on the left to shoot another mine. Go back and move on.

Eliminate the trap and turret in the next tunnel. When you get to the entrance, walk slowly as you will be attacked by a Krauser. Follow up. Krauser will attack with a crossbow. Hide behind the rubble to avoid getting hit. When you reach the end, don’t rush up the stairs as Krauser will throw grenades. In the next area, shoot Krauser and then fight with knives. After the cut-scene, you will find yourself in ruins. Keep moving, block the enemy attack and dodge at the very end. Climb up the stairs for a full boss fight to begin.

Krauser mutates and will attack the blade on his hand. It is not uncommon for the boss to try to grab Leon. Any of the blade attacks can be parried and then counterattacked. If you try to shoot at him, he will block the projectiles with his armored hand. Instead, aim not at the torso, but at the legs, and after a while, stun the boss. If he gets close and pulls his hand away, he will try to grab Leon in a second. You can avoid capture by going to the right. When he jumps onto the rock from above, go up one of the two ladders. It will jump down and hit the ground and you will take damage if you stay below. While he is jumping, you can shoot him several times. Keep going until you kill Krauser. For victory, you will automatically receive the Krauser Combat Knife. Leave the location to complete the chapter.

Chapter 15

Climb up and drop down to the other side to reach the first merchant’s shop in the chapter. Do not rush to go deep into the location, because a helicopter will appear in a few seconds. Pilot Mike will kill most of the enemies in the area. Take your opponents out into the open and Mike will take them out and you’ll save ammo. Once the first group has been defeated, go around the building and look for a suspended metal cage with red beryl.

Keep going forward and Mike will destroy the next enemy tower. Climb the stairs on the left, turn right and look at the structure above to find another metal cage with a velvety gem. Soon an anti-aircraft gun will appear, which will attack the helicopter. You must destroy it, otherwise Mike will not destroy the next gate. Go up the path along the wall of the building and at the top you will see a turret facing the anti-aircraft gun. Interact with her to destroy the anti-aircraft gun and normal opponents.

When the cannon is destroyed, Mike will return and destroy the gate. Follow down and go to the next arena. There are two switches here that need to be activated at the top on both sides of the door. Watch out for the two enemies behind the top turrets. It’s best to go left to where there is a ladder that leads to the platform above, to the right switch. Hide in the corner and shoot at the enemies behind the turrets to clear a path. After pulling the first switch, jump down and go under the left turret, where there will be another ladder. At the top you will meet a thug with a crossbow. You can run back and use another turret to attack him. Pull the second lever to open the door and go through.

Trader’s Request: Destroy Blue Medallions 6

Deal with the enemies and go to the next building to find a note with an assignment. Do not enter the building until you have destroyed all the medallions. If you go too far, you won’t be able to return, so first complete the quest.

  • Blue medallion 1. In the tower above the place where you found the note with the assignment. It is far away, but you can knock it down with a shotgun or rifle with a telescopic sight.
  • Blue medallion 2. Turn left and look at the scaffolding on the side of the building to find the second medallion.
  • Blue Medallion 3. Go back a little to where you came from and look to the right to find a third medallion hanging from the ruins below.
  • Blue medallion 4. Return to the east and you can enter the ruins. Find a ledge that you can jump off of. Before you go down, go to the left of the stairs and look through the hole to find the next medallion. Go down the stairs and go to the end of the path to find a chest with a royal staff.
  • Blue Medallion 5. Go to the northern edge of the lower area and look through the holes towards the cliffs to the east. To get to the last medallion, you need to stand at a certain angle.

Go back upstairs and go through the door, near which there was a note with instructions. You will enter a room with body bags (“Sample Vault”). Don’t touch the handle. In the north of the area, there is a small room with a clockwork keeper perched on the rafters. In the same room, look for a chest with a bracelet. When you’re ready, turn the handle to raise the nearest door. Once you pass through this door, you can’t go back. The next area is full of body bags, and some have regenerators hiding in them. One of them will come out for sure, but you can avoid the appearance of the second one by avoiding the bags. Deal with the enemy and turn the crank in the middle of the room to raise the door. Quickly run through the door before it closes.

The next room will contain the last merchant of the chapter. Be sure to talk to him to turn in the order. If you have completed all the tasks, you will receive the Master of All Trades achievement. There is also an elevator leading to the last shooting range. There will be no new challenges, but you can complete the previous ones to the S rank. If you haven’t bought it yet, get the Killer7 pistol at a discounted price. When you’re ready, go through the door to get to the location where the last mass battle will unfold. Your goal is to reach the top of the stairs to enter the temple, but the path will be blocked by a turret that needs to be deactivated. When you reach the section with two buildings by the stairs, a large number of enemies will appear. Deal with them and go up the stairs in the building on the right.

If you look at the building to the left of the one to the right, you will see a goon looking at the wall. If you enter the left building and try to go through the door, he will attack you. Go to the left building and go through the door on the top floor. Defeat the enemy and interact with the turret to disable it. Climb up the temple for a cutscene. Move in a straight line until the chapter ends.

Chapter 16

At the beginning of the chapter, you will enter Luis’ lab. Go through the doors back to the previous room and help Ashley up the wall on the left so she can lower the ladder. Hanging from the ceiling above is a cage with a velvety gem. Follow back to the sanctuary. First, follow the path on the left, which leads to the front with an altar and a disguised enemy. Behind the altar where you saved Ashley in Chapter 15, pick up the Illuminados Pendant hanging on the stone slab. Go back and up the other path and look at the merchant. In front of the merchant’s room is the last chest with a gold ingot. If you have collected all the previous treasures on the island, you will get the “Plunderer” achievement.

This is the last merchant in the game, and the only combat scenario left to complete is the final boss fight. If you haven’t bought a rocket launcher, do so to make the fight much easier.

How to beat Saddler

At the beginning of the fight, you will be on a raised platform and he will walk towards you. Run along the path and jump down. The boss has large eyes on each of its 4 paws. At the first stage, shoot at the eyes to destroy them. Once all the eyes are destroyed, the enemy will be temporarily stunned, allowing you to attack them up close and deal a lot of damage. The enemy will then regenerate the eyes on its paws and you will be able to repeat the action sequence.

The main attacks are spitting black goo forward or in three vertical/horizontal streams. When vertical flows appear, it’s easiest to move to another level of the platform and avoid damage. If the slime spreads horizontally, then duck down. Eventually, he can jump onto the middle platform to summon insects. You need to hit any eye on the paw to stop the never-ending process. Destroy all spawned insects before the boss stops and returns to the fight. If you delay with the first stage, the enemy will stumble upon one of the platforms and destroy it. This will make the arena smaller and make it slightly more difficult to move around (you won’t be able to walk in circles). If you bought a rocket launcher, you can shoot at the enemy to instantly complete the first stage.

Saddler transforms again, tentacles appear. They are easy to avoid as the boss swings its limbs horizontally from left to right or vice versa. Press the key that appears on the screen. As for vertical strikes, just go in any direction. Keep shooting at the big eye in the center to damage it. Eventually, Ada will throw a rocket launcher at you. Pick up and shoot the eye to end the boss fight.

After the battle with Sadler, you and Ashley will have just under 3 minutes to leave the island. Don’t worry about the enemies as no one will attack you. Keep running. You will go through the door and Leon will automatically push back the enemy who tries to grab him. In this room, in the far right corner, the last clockwork caretaker is hidden, right on the boxes. If you destroyed all the previous ones, you will receive the achievement “Act of Defiance”. Interact with the scooter to get out of the cave and complete the game.
