Here are all the details about the different types of Pals eggs you can get in Palworld. Find out which Pals hatch from each one and what you need to do to be able to hatch them quickly.
Among the many items you’ll find in Palworld as you play, one might particularly catch your eye: Pal eggs . No, these aren’t just any ordinary eggs you can eat to satisfy your cravings, but as you might imagine, they’re eggs that can be incubated to hatch into a new, powerful Pal that you can later use on your team or in your base . In fact, you can find them not only in the wild, but you can also bring Pal pairs together in a Hatchery to lay special eggs, as we’ve already explained in another entry in our guide .
Next, we’re going to talk about the different types of Pals Eggs that exist in the game, what creatures can hatch from them, and what steps you need to follow to successfully incubate the eggs at your base.
Types of eggs and how to get them
In Palworld there are different types of Pal eggs that can vary in size , being these normal, large or giant, as well as in colors and patterns on their shells; for example, there are red, black, blue, etc.
There are 9 types of eggs, one for each element or main type of Pal, and their names and shapes are as follows:
Egg image | Type of egg | What Pals does it contain? |
Greenish egg | Plant | |
Frosted Egg | Ice | |
Rough egg | Land | |
Dark Egg | Darkness | |
Burning Egg | Fire | |
Wet egg | Water | |
electric egg | Ray | |
Dragon’s Egg | Dragon | |
Common egg | Not elementary |
These eggs can be obtained through breeding in a Hatchery (bringing together two pairs of opposite-sex Pals) and also in the wild, by finding them scattered on the ground (check out this interactive map for their locations). In this sense, it should be noted that obviously some eggs are more common and frequent in certain types of biomes , such as the Fiery Eggs that appear more often in the hot and volcanic area located in the southwest of the map, or the Frosty Eggs that come out in cold climates with snow, in the north.
What Pals come out of each type of egg?
You’ll never be able to know exactly which Pal will hatch from each egg unless you use the breeding method in the Hatchery, but if you come across any Pal eggs in the wild and want to know what possible random Pal will hatch from them, you can check out the lists below of Pals that have a chance of hatching from each egg group based on their color and size.

How to incubate eggs?
In order to hatch Pal Eggs in Palworld, whether you find them out in the world while exploring or those you obtain from breeding them at a Hatchery in your base, you will need to have a special facility that serves this purpose: an Incubator .
The Incubator is a type of building whose recipe you can unlock by reaching level 7 in the Technology section , using technology points to acquire its blueprint. Once you can create it, you will need the following resources to place it in your base:
- Paldium Fragmentx10
- Fabricx5
- Stonex30
- Ancient Civilization Componentx2
After crafting the Incubator, you can interact with its menu and select the Pal egg you want to incubate. Keep in mind that you can only place one egg at a time in an incubator, and a countdown timer will always be displayed so you know how long it takes for the egg to hatch and the Pal to be born.
How to make egg incubation faster?
In case you didn’t know, there are several ways to speed up the incubation of eggs in Palworld so that they hatch much faster . The main method is to make the temperature around the incubator as comfortable as possible, depending on the Pal egg you are incubating.
After placing an egg in the incubator, pay attention to the details that appear below the time counter .
- Here you can see what the currentincubation rate is and whether the egg is “comfortable” or not.
- Depending on the egg, some eggs that are too cold or too hotcould reduce the incubation rate to 0%. Others, however, require it.
- To heat or cool an egg, place items such as a campfire or refrigeratornear the incubator .
As long as the text next to the timer says “Looks pretty good ,” you don’t have to worry. You’ll be hatching the egg as quickly as possible.
Aside from that, it’s also worth mentioning that if you’re the admin of a game, you can change the egg hatching speed parameter when customizing the world difficulty . If you want, you can set the “Big Egg Hatching Time (h) [Affects Other Eggs As Well]” parameter to 0 to make the speed the fastest. If you don’t adjust this, incubation will default to slower on higher difficulties , and shorter on lower difficulties.
