Solution 1 – Repair the game

According to users, sometimes The Sims 4 won’t open if its installation is corrupted. To fix the problem, you just need to repair your The Sims 4 installation.

This is quite simple and you can do it by following these steps:

  1. Open source .
  2. Now go to your Library , right click on The Sims 4 and choose the Repair Game option .

Once the game is repaired, try starting it again and see if the problem is still there.

Solution 2 – Cleanly boot your computer

  2. On the Services tab , click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box > select  Disable all .

  4. Select each startup item> click Disable .
  5. Close Task Manager> click click on OK >  restart the computer.

If clean boot solves your problem, you need to enable disabled apps and services one by one or in groups until you find the cause of the problem.

Solution 3 – Clean your registry

In some cases, its registration can cause problems with the game. If The Sims 4 won’t start on your PC, it might be a good time to clean your registry.

In some cases, your antivirus can interfere with the game and prevent you from running it. However, you may be able to fix the problem simply by disabling certain antivirus features.

Alternatively, you can try adding TS4.exe , Origin.exe files and authorization interface user to the list of exclusions in your antivirus and see if that helps.

If the problem persists, try disabling your antivirus and check if the game is running. In the worst case, you may need to remove your antivirus and check if that helps.

Solution 6 – Disable Origin in the game

  1. Open source .
  2. Now go to Application Settings> In-game Origin .
