Like other online RPGs, Lost Ark is not complete without the characteristics and skills of the characters. In the demo, you can learn the basics of these two elements, which we’ll cover in this article.
Note : since it is impossible to learn about all the nuances of the pumping system in the demo version, this material will be updated at the LOST ARK testing stages.
Character characteristics
- Strength (Berserker, Avatar) – increases attack power.
- Intelligence (Minstrel) – increases attack power.
- Mobility (Mechanist) – increases attack power.
- Endurance – increases the amount of character health. The amount of health depends on the class.
- Agility – increases the chance of a critical hit.
- Mastery – increases the damage of Awakening skills. Other improvements depend on the class:
- Avatar – increases the amount of accumulated energy of primary elements, and skills that use it do more damage.
- Minstrel – The skill “Aria of Healing” becomes more effective. The power of the effects of the “Aria of Valor” skill is also increased.
- Berserker – increases the amount of accumulated rage.
- Mechanist – skills in turret mode do more damage. The effectiveness of the impact of firepower also increases.
- Suppression – increases damage to targets affected by the control effect. Emaciated opponents will also take more damage.
- Dexterity – increases the speed of attack, movement and reduces the cooldown of skills.
- Fortitude – increases defense, resistance, the effectiveness of defensive skills and the effectiveness of healing.
- Mastery – increases the duration of control effects on enemies, and decreases on you. Disarmed targets will take more damage.
Combat skills

Each class has a certain set of skills that can be pumped for certain points. By level 50, you will have 252 skill points and this amount will not be enough to pump all active skills. You can increase 5 skills to level 10, and one to level 6. So you have to choose carefully. It is also worth considering that the higher you pump the skill, the more points are required for this:
- 2-3 level – 1 point.
- 4th level – 2 points.
- 5-6 level – 4 points.
- 7-9 level – 8 points.
- Level 10 – 12 points.
At the same time, increasing the skill level not only strengthens it, but also allows you to open special bonuses. At level 4, blue bonuses will open, at level 7 – green, at 10 – gold. In each category, you can only select one boost.
Another interesting feature is the skill sets. There are two of them available and they will allow you to switch between two assemblies of your skills. This feature is very convenient for those who play PVP and PVE right away. By the way, don’t be afraid to experiment with skills. By clicking on the “reset” button, you can even reset already saved points distribution.
