Today we talk about famous Indian technical experts, especially software engineers, who have skyrocketed on their own and honored India in the world. The first name that comes to mind is that of Sundar Pichai, who has recently been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Alphabet Incorporation. This company is the second largest company in the world and owns the Google company. More than 1 lakh engineers work in this company. Born in Chennai, Sundar Pichai started his career in 2004 as an engineer in Google Company. IIT-educated Sundar Pichai grew so quickly that anyone knowing it could be shocked.

Shantanu Narayan : Another name in this episode is Shantanu Narayan who isthe President and CEO of Adobe Incorporation . Adobe is known for multimedia software, employing around 21000 engineers. He was honored with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2019. Born in Hyderabad, Shantanu Narayan entered Adobe’s worldwide product research division in 1998 as Senior Vice President, later becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2007. He graduated in science from Osmania University. Later he went to America and got higher education. He has also held key positions in Apple and Silicon graphics companies.

Sathya Narayan Nadella: Who does not know Microsoft , the company of Bill Gates, which is one of the world’s richest people, which made computers so popular worldwide? Every Indian’s chest swells proudly when Satya Narayan Nadella, an Indian engineer, is reported to be the Chief Executive Officer of this company. He replaced Steve Ballmer in 2014.

Nadella was appointed as the company’s Chief Executive Officer in February 2014 after working at Microsoft for 22 years. About one and a half million engineers work at Microsoft. Born in Hyderabad, Nadella holds a BE degree from the Manipal Institute of Technology and an MS from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Rajiv Suri: Rajiv Suri joined Nokia in 1995 and held various positions there in April 2014 before being appointed President and CEO. Suri was made the CEO of Nokia when Microsoft bought Nokia’s mobile phone business. Born in India, Suri has done engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.

Sanjay Mehrotra: Sanjay Mehrotra of India is also a big name in the software sector. In 1988, he co-founded ScanDisk, a world-famous company that manufactures flash memory, which is used for data storage in computers. He became its CEO from January 2011. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of California, Berkeley, and also went to Stanford for an executive program. He holds several patents in his name.

George Kurian : George Kurienis CEO and President ofdata management companyNetAppsince 2015. He served as executive vice president of product operations for nearly two years, prior to joining NetApp, George was vice president and general manager of the Application Networking & Switching Technology Group at Cisco Systems. Born in Kottayam district in Kerala, George has done engineering from IIT-Madras.

Today every country wants companies of these industrialists to come and invest in their country so that they can benefit from both technology and employment. Being of Indian origin, India can invite all these stars very easily. All they need is a proper environment for production and trade.
