SPEECH ON Independence Day India

Long and Short Speech on Independence Day India

Speech 1

Respected Chief Guest Sir, Respected teachers, parents and colleagues. I am happy to receive the opportunity to express my thoughts on this auspicious occasion of Independence Day. This is our 73rd Independence Day celebration. Exactly 73 years ago, we got independence. The story of our freedom struggle is very big, which cannot be described in a day. Independence Day is very important for every Indian.

We were ruled by the British 73 years ago, they came to India on the pretext of trade and gradually took everything under their control and made us their slaves. Then on 15 August 1947 India became independent after many agitations and fights. Due to the brave warriors of our country, we have become independent today and celebrate this day by paying tribute to those people. Independence Day is one of the national festivals of India.

Speech 2

Respected Principal Sir, Deputy Principal Sir, Honorable Teachers and dear colleagues. Today, on the occasion of Independence Day, I am feeling very happy to get the opportunity to express my thoughts to you, let me tell you about the importance of Independence Day.

Independence Day is a historical festival, 73 years ago, India got independence from the British. India, which had lost its existence, regained its identity. The British came to India and after knowing and examining its surroundings very carefully, keeping in view our weaknesses, attacked us and ruled for nearly two hundred years. Our brave warriors fought many battles and after that we got independence on 15 August 1947.

Since then till date, we have been celebrating 15 August as Independence Day every year. The flag is hoisted at the Red Fort every year by our honorable Prime Minister. After this they address the country and then some colorful programs are presented. People go from far to Delhi to see it and those who are unable to go there watch it live.

In this way we celebrate our Independence Day by remembering our brave soldiers.

Jai Hind.

Speech 3

My greetings to all the veterans present here and a warm greetings to the brothers and sisters. On this auspicious occasion of Independence Day, I am expressing my thoughts in a queued manner, so that you can understand the poignancy of that era, what was the need that had to be lost, what kind of disaster had to come Had to sacrifice it, and I hope you all like it.

Will you understand what was the fear of losing life in this era, will you understand what was the level of repatriation of the British in this era. Have you seen the burning of the entire village overnight. What have you seen, the children die of hunger. Earth was ours to say, but there was no food for food. Incense used to grow every day, but there was darkness in every house.

Oh Baisakhi, the lamps were lit from house to house to celebrate the festival, could not return to their house, the Holi game of blood which was extinguished. Jallianwala Bagh murder case is called in which all the children and old people died. What was the fault, that the sacrifices had to be sacrificed, what was the fault of that helpless mother from whom Ruthi was her killer. Slowly the anger increased, anger raged on everyone’s head. When Gandhiji started the Non-Cooperation Movement, we also did the Chaura-Chauri scandal.

He considered us helpless, so he used to rule over us. But we were not afraid to sacrifice life on the country, nor were we Indians. There was a lot of dictatorship, now the country had to be brought back. Whatever weapon, price, punishment, distinction was to adopt weapons. Gandhiji endured and said that non-violence is to be adopted. The answer is not a stone for int, this lesson has to be taught to the British.

Ahimsa was made a weapon, not a gun and shot. Nevertheless, we drove the British out of our country, and on that date we made them with golden letters, and this is our Independence Day, brothers, who were gracefully called 15 August.

Jai Hind Jai Bharat.

Speech 4

Morning greetings to all my respected teachers, parents, and dear friends. Today we have gathered here to celebrate this great national occasion. As we know that Independence Day is a Mars occasion for all of us. This is a very important day for all Indian citizens and it has been mentioned forever in history. This is the day when we got freedom from British rule after years of hard struggle by the great freedom fighters of India. To commemorate the first day of India’s independence, we celebrate Independence Day on August 15 every year as well as remember the sacrifices of all the great leaders who gave their sacrifice for India’s independence.

India gained independence on 15 August 1947 from British rule. After independence, we got all the fundamental rights in our nation and motherland. We should be proud to be our Indians and praise our good fortune that we were born in the land of independent India. The history of slave India tells everything about how our ancestors fought fiercely and endured the brutal tortures of Firangi. We cannot sit here and imagine how difficult it was to get freedom from British rule. It has sacrificed the lives of countless freedom fighters and struggled for decades from 1857 to 1947. The first voice against the British for India’s independence was raised by Mangal Pandey, a soldier working in the British Army.

We are very fortunate that our ancestors have given us a land of peace and happiness where we can sleep all night without fear and have fun all day in our school and home. Our country is rapidly developing in technology, education, sports, finance, and many other fields which were not possible without independence. India is one of the countries rich in nuclear energy. We are moving forward by actively participating in sports like Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games. We have complete freedom to choose our government and are using the world’s largest democracy. Yes, we are free and have complete freedom, although we should not consider ourselves free from responsibilities towards our country. As responsible citizens of the country, we should always be ready for any emergency.

Speech 5

Good morning greetings to my dear friends and respected teachers present here. We have gathered to celebrate this auspicious occasion of Independence Day on 15 August. We celebrate this day with full enthusiasm and joy because India got independence in 1947 from British rule. We have come here to celebrate the 73rd Independence Day. It is a very great and important day for all Indians.

For many years, the Indian people tolerated the cruel behavior of the British. Today we are free in almost all fields such as education, sports, transportation, trade etc. as it was possible only due to the struggles of our ancestors. Before 1947, people had many restrictions even they did not have authority over their mind and body. He was a slave of the British and was compelled to obey his orders. Today we are free to do anything because of those great Indian leaders who fought hard for many years to get freedom against British rule.

Independence Day is celebrated with great joy all over India. It is a very important day for all Indians because it gives us an opportunity to remember the great freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives to give us a peaceful and beautiful life. Before independence, people were forbidden to read, write, eat well and live a normal life like ours. Those programs responsible for independence in India should be appreciated. To fulfill their meaningless orders, the British used to treat Indians worse than slaves.

Some of India’s greatest freedom fighters are Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Gandhiji, JL Nehru, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lala Lajpat Rai, Bhagat Singh, Khudiram Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad etc. These were famous patriots who fought hard for the independence of India till the end of their lives. We cannot even imagine those scary moments of struggle by our ancestors. Our country is on the right path of development after years of independence. Today our country is well established as a democratic country all over the world. Gandhi was a great leader who told us about effective methods of freedom like non-violence and satyagraha. Gandhi saw the dream of independent India with non-violence and peace.

India is our motherland and we are its citizens. We should always be ready to protect it from bad people. It is our responsibility to lead our country forward and make it the best country in the world.
