Solid toothpaste: which one to choose?

The solid toothpaste is an environmentally friendly alternative to toothpaste in a tube, which saves the environment tons of plastic packaging every year.

There are several versions of solid toothpaste on the market, from powder to tablets or tablets, passing through solid stick toothpaste.

These are toothpastes formulated with powders such as kaolin and sodium bicarbonate to which surfactants with a cleansing action, functional ingredients such as xylitol or fluorine and antibacterial, perfumed and refreshing essential oils can be added.

The ingredients are then pressed in the tablet or stick version . Since they do not contain water, the formulations of this type of toothpaste do not include preservatives.

The toothpaste powder is used by pouring a small amount of product on the wet toothbrush, while for the stick one you need to rub the toothbrush directly on the toothpaste, taking care not to damage the product.

The toothpaste in tablets is used instead by chewing the tablet for a few seconds and then proceeding to the normal washing of the teeth with the toothbrush for about three minutes and the final rinse with water.

Among the solid toothpaste formats, the tablet one is probably the most practical and hygienic both during use and to take with you when traveling.
