Final bosses in Sekiro
Secondary bosses and appearances
In addition to the final bosses, as we progress through the game we also encounter the so-called secondary bosses or mini-bosses . They are dangerous in many cases, but they will allow us to advance and complete the missions we have to complete in Sekiro, so we will encounter many of them throughout the game. They are especially important because they will help us obtain all the Prayer Beads we need.
Apparitions are a special type of secondary boss . They are particularly dangerous, cause great terror and have the ability to kill us instantly. Therefore, it is important to be very careful when facing one, because it may catch us by surprise and we will have little chance of winning the battle against these apparitions. By defeating them we gain Spirit Drop of various types.
Prosthesis and materials
Your katana is your main weapon throughout the game . Although we also find a series of prostheses, which are presented as a good help in Sekiro. These prostheses or materials will allow us to equip or improve our weapon, so that we are prepared in various scenarios, such as when we face the bosses in the game. They are also seen as secondary weapons, which is something that will help us a lot when playing. The weapons are the following:
- Charged Shuriken: A very versatile throwing weapon that can be used in all kinds of situations.
- Drills: a contraption that scares animals
- Charged Axe: A powerful tool that can knock down any shield
- Charged Lance: This item allows you to hook enemies
- Sabimaru: A poisoned dagger
- Iron Fan: A shield that blocks enemies with great ease
- Divine Abduction: A fan that causes enemies to turn around.
- Whistle: Helps to disturb guard animals in some scenarios
- Mist Crow: Dodges enemy attacks and allows for a deadly counterattack
- Flame Conduit: A powerful cannon to fight groups of enemies in the game
Skills
When you start playing Sekiro, you will only have a couple of skills and attacks that you can use. This is a limitation, but the good thing is that as you progress through the game, you will gain new skills and attacks. This is important because this way you will be able to defeat the enemies and bosses that you encounter in the game. The main skills or techniques that you will find in the game are:
- Shinobi Arts : These are the basic skills with which we start the game.
- Ashina Arts : Skills that we learn from the leader of the Ashina ninjas, who will tell us what his combat style is like.
- Mushin Arts : A combat style for the best warriors.
- Temple Arts : You learn to fight with your bare hands.
- Prosthetic Arts : Make the most of your secondary weapons thanks to their unique combat techniques.
- Ninjutsu : Special skills to take advantage of stealth kills.
Endings in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
As in other games of this style, there are several endings in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. In this particular case, there are four different endings in total. In some cases we can complete them in a couple of games, but this is something that depends on a multitude of factors, so you should not obsess over it. The endings in the game are the following:
- Abandonment of Immortality : Sekiro grants Kuro’s wishes in this ending. To access this ending you must refuse to harm Kuro during Return to Ashina Castle.
- Return : This is an ending you access when you have not defeated the final boss Divine Realm.
- Purification : Emma looks for another way to help Kuro in this ending.
- Shura : You have to progress until you reach Return to Ashina Castle, in the normal way. What happens is that now you have to decide to kill Kuro and that’s how you get to this ending.
