Gold bars in RDR2 are one of the fastest ways to make money. For each such item, you will receive $500 from the fence, which is really a lot (especially in the early stages of the game). In this guide, we have collected all the places where you can find them.

All gold bars in RDR2
Please note : Most of the gold bars you get are from treasure maps in RDR2 .
In addition to collecting treasures on maps, there are several other places in Red Dead Redemption 2 that are worth visiting in search of gold. You will earn about $3,000 without straining yourself too much.
Strange statues in the cave
In the northern part of the map (near the letter I in the Ambarino inscription) there is a cave with strange statues inside. If you click on them in the right order, you will get three gold bars.
The clue to this puzzle is a painting on Window Rock north of Valentine. If you look closely, you’ll notice a large eagle in the center and seven smaller ones scattered around it. You need to pick the eagles that are facing upwards (like the bird in the center) and count the feathers in their tails. That gives you the numbers 2, 3, 5, and 7.
Now let’s go back to the strange statues in the cave. Count the fingers on their hands. Note that the hand of one of the statues is broken off and is lying nearby. It has three more fingers, so this statue has seven in total. You need to press the buttons on the statues that have 2, 3, 5 and 7 fingers, respectively.
If you make a mistake, no problem. Walk around the statue and press the button on the back. When you do it right, you’ll hear a beep and you’ll be able to pick up the ingots from the cache at the base of the central statue.
Derailed train
North of Valentine, near Cotorra Spring, you can find a train wreck. In one of the cars there are two gold bars, and in the other there is a safe with money and jewelry.
It is most convenient to start the descent to the train from the road in the north and gradually move down between the two mountains. You can go through the bridge support bending down. You can get into the carriage with the safe through the open door, it will be more fun with gold.
In the screenshot below, we have depicted the path you need to take. To climb up the embankment, hold on to the right edge and grab the ledge. It may not work right away. Then climb onto the platform on the right, jump from it to the left and fall into the carriage from above.
Gold in a burnt village
Another gold bar can be found literally a few steps from our first base camp “Horseshoe Highlands”. You need a place called Limpony. In the building with the sign “Sheriff” there is a table, and under it is a safe with a bar.
Tree with bottles
There’s a funny tree to the east of Flatneck Station. It has a dozen bottles of booze hanging from it. If you turn on Eagle Eye, you’ll see one of them glowing. Shoot it to get a gold nugget.
Gold at the Braithwaite Estate
After completing the third story chapter, you will be able to find a gold bar in a safe among the rubble of the burnt Braithwaite estate. You need an inconspicuous box behind the fireplace, a few steps from the body of the mistress of the house (see screenshot 2).
