Raid: Shadow Legends – how to properly download feed

All information about the process of pumping “feed” – that is, characters used to increase the rank of the most popular and suitable heroes

The guide below covers the mechanics of one of the most important feed pumping processes in Raid: Shadow Legends. Carefully study the information, as any mistakes made can artificially delay the farming process and, accordingly, delay the increase in the rank of heroes. We’ve rounded up everything you need to know for new and intermediate Raid: Shadow Legends players .

Feed pumping principle

Each hero in Raid: Shadow Legends can be pumped to a maximum of level 60, but this can be done only after reaching the sixth rank (receiving six stars). In turn, to increase the rank, you will have to “feed” the necessary heroes to other characters. The mechanics are intuitively simple: to move from the third rank to the fourth, you will have to pump a hero to level 30, then go to the “Tavern” and donate 3-4 heroes of the third rank for him. A specific character will receive a fourth star, and you can continue to increase his level.

Of course, no one wants to sacrifice some epic and even more legendary characters, letting them feed the hero they like. Therefore, a slightly different tactic is used, associated with pumping low-grade characters. You have to develop them, but only in order to subsequently use them for the development of another warrior. A similar process is used in many other similar games, including Summoners War: Sky Arena.

Top three tips for efficient feed pumping

There are several rules and conditions that must be followed to get the most out of the feed pumping process.

1. Apply experience boosts

One such boost allows heroes to get twice as much experience in battles. For example, if a character previously received 5,000 experience points for completing a specific level in a campaign, now the reward will be doubled to 10,000 EXP. We figured out the boost functionality, but now you should pay attention to the fact that they can be one-day and three-day. The whole point is in their names. One-day can be earned by completing weekly missions, received as a reward for participating in events and competitions, or bought in the store (for 140 crystals). The cost of a three-day boost is twice as high (280 crystals), but you will use it not for two, but for three days. That is, a three-day boost is more profitable. But you will feel the benefit only if you are really going to download the “feed” characters during these three days in a row.

2. Download campaign feed on the last campaign level

With the boosts sorted out. By turning them on, you need to assemble a team in such a way that one maximally pumped hero can pull on himself three characters that are pumped for food. Moreover, he must pull out the sixth level of the last chapter of the campaign. And the higher the level of complexity at which you pump feed, the more efficient the process itself will be. However, do not despair if you cannot complete the last level on Impossible difficulty mode. If something happens, try the Hard or Normal level. To understand how effective pumping will be at the maximum, here are simple numbers of experience gained by each hero in case of successful completion of the last campaign level with the experience boost enabled:

  • Impossible difficulty level – 8800 experience points (8 energy)
  • Hard difficulty level – 5900 experience points (6 energy)
  • Normal difficulty level – 3668 experience points (4 energies)

3. Don’t miss events and tournaments

The game often hosts events and competitions aimed at pumping heroes. And this is the best chance to pump feed as efficiently and quickly as possible, because this way you will receive additional prizes and experience.

How fast the feed is pumping

If you have the most pumped hero capable of pulling a team with three “feed” characters in battles on the sixth level of the last chapter of the campaign on the Impossible difficulty level, when activating the experience boost, you will need the following number of battles to get characters of a specific rank (of course, these fights should be winning):

  • Hero of the second rank (pumping up to level 20) – 9 battles
  • Hero of the third rank (pumping up to level 30) – 23 battles
  • Hero of the fourth rank (pumping up to level 40) – 51 battles
  • Hero of the fifth rank (pumping up to level 50) – 111 battles

In total, if you are pumping food for a character of the fifth rank, in order to transfer him to sixth, you will have to fight a total of 194 winning battles. If you lower the difficulty level at the last location of the campaign to Hard or Normal, then the number of battles will increase to approximately 290 or 465, respectively.

Which hero is best for feed

That is, we are talking about the character that we will use as the main character, so that he pulls out battles on the last level of the campaign. It’s fair to say that any starting character up to rank six will do the trick to achieve this goal. Provided you equip the best artifacts on it and choose the right talents. It doesn’t matter which one you choose, as Ethel, Elaine, Galek or Kael are able to calmly endure all opponents of the last level of the story campaign on Impossible difficulty.

However, to increase efficiency, it is important not only the fact that the hero can pump feed at maximum difficulty, but also the amount of time it takes to deal with the final enemy. Therefore, you should look for characters with the most powerful AoE attack skills. That is, someone who will smash all opponents in almost one move. There are many such characters. For example, you can pay attention to Revoglas, Crowned and Lutopes.
