Over the weekend, the developers of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds delighted us with a completely new event about silent assassins called “Silent and Dangerous”. We already had nicks on sniper rifles, but here the specifics are set by the only weapon of the match – Vintorez. This special forces barrel was created for tactical silent shooting in a range of one hundred meters. And team fights with such setups, especially on a small map, turn into interesting confrontations.

General rules
Since this is a modified “War” mode, your team’s task is to score more points. To win, you need to knock out 150 points (three points for a kill and minus one for death), and not necessarily – after 15 minutes, the match ends and the team with the highest amount wins. All players start with pre-installed sets: VSS “Vintorez” (fully modified), cartridges for it, body armor and helmet of the first level, five bandages, one energy drink, as well as smoke and flash-noise grenades. After death, a team member will respawn in a plane that flies over the island every 30 seconds.

Tactics
First, you need to read the VSS Vintorez guide to understand what kind of complex barrel fell into your hands. He has a very specific manner of shooting, especially at long range. After studying the performance characteristics, you should take a closer look at your teammates and try to establish verbal contact with them. After all, they have a “death chamber”, which means they can set fire to their killer’s stash. In general, the problem of determining the location of the enemy in this event is especially acute, due to the noiselessness of the main weapon. Some professionals track the tracer from the bullet, as it flies very slowly, but at long distances the fire is carried out with such a canopy that only God can be suspected of shelling – lead rain from the sky.
To put it more shortly, “Who saw whom first – that and the slippers.” Therefore, you will have to learn to move in jerks: get up – run – fall – aim. Try to stick to bushes and tall grass, if there is solid shelter (fence, stone, etc.) – it will also do. Agree to cover each other. While one is running, the other is assessing the environment through a blurry sight. You can, of course, focus on aggressive gameplay, rush around the map and kill everything that moves, but this is a direct and fast way to the aircraft hangar. The more time you spend in the air, the less chance your team has to score the required amount of points.
Do not forget to carefully loot the corpses of opponents. There are usually enough cartridges, but bandages and energy are always in short supply. Of the grenades, only smoke is useful – it should be used in an emergency retreat in an open field. Do not throw over trifles, as a variety of jackals will immediately run into the column of smoke. Flash and noise come in handy when storming buildings, to disorientate the enemy entrenched there. Remember that Vintorez has an automatic firing mode – it is very useful for attacking and point-blank battles, despite the small size of the store. It is optimal to set up an ambush on a busy route, or take an iconic place where all loot lovers will rush out of habit. The best thing is to occupy a high-rise or hill with a circular view, lie down in the grass and control the entire terrain in the area.

I have always heard complaints that many do not fully use the entire arsenal of the game. It is understandable – why take an unknown barrel when there is already a shot. Events like these allow you to check out rare and unpopular weapons in order to broaden your horizons and increase your chances of winning in regular skating rinks. After all, sometimes you have to shoot from what is at hand.
