The Pokémon Go fever is close to its first year. The Pokémon trainers have decreased their activity and Niantic wants them to go back out into the streets, mobile in hand, to look for creatures. Niantic is taking steps to attract fans and has already implemented promo codes in the Android game.

Promotional codes, at the moment, will only work on Android. Niantic wants us to get back on the phone and go out to parks and stations to capture critters. The novelty is now in the main menu of the game. Inside the Pokémon Go store we can enter the promotional codes and redeem them. Once we redeem them, a notification will tell us what we have achieved thanks to the code. Through the codes we can receive objects, candies, star dust, coins or customization elements for the avatar, for example.
The promotional codes are intended to be received when attending special events, participating in promotions or solving reward problems, as explained from the Pokémon Go Hub. They will be codes to be used only once per event or promotion, created and delivered by Niantic although Niantic has not yet explained how these codes will be distributed or when they will begin to be used.
Pokémon GO loses steam after the initial boom last summer, when its launch. This year Legendary Pokémon are expected to arrive as one of Niantic’s big bets for 2017. Zapdos, Articuno, Mew, Mewtwo and the others would arrive before the end of the year in two different generations and not all at once. But they would not be the only improvements that the Niantic application would receive. Pokémon Go will soon renew the system of gyms and equipment. On the one hand, the Pokémon will have more relevance when it comes to fighting in gyms and it will not be enough to choose the highest level, as before.
Pokémon Go will have you hooked on the game again this summer thanks to battles , creature exchanges and the aforementioned Legendary Pokémon. Teams can be formed to fight the creatures and the battles will come so you can fight against other trainers but you can also exchange creatures with other players, friends or family. Both functions are, without a doubt, one of the main attractions that the saga has had since its birth and that will now allow Pokémon Go to have a greater similarity with the original game.
