Sinistea is one of the Pokémon introduced in the eighth generation with Galar, but it is also present in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple . It is one of those specimens that requires a specific method to evolve and, therefore, in the following guide, we will tell you where to find it, what items we need and how to make it transform so that you can have a nice teapot in the Pokédex.

The first thing we have to do if we want to get a Sinistea is to go to a ruined area. Specifically, we can locate it more easily near Alforno Village, for example .
Get the Cracked Teapot and the Broken Teapot
Once you have one, it’s time to evolve it. Sinistea doesn’t do it by level, but rather we need very specific items: The Cracked Teapot and the Broken Teapot. And what’s the difference between them?
- Cracked Kettle: Allows us to evolve Sinistea into Polteageist in its archaic form. This is the most common form.
- Broken Teapot: Allows us to evolve Sinistea into Polteageist in its genuine form. This form is less common.
It is worth noting that the difference in shape refers to whether the teapot the Pokémon is sitting on is real or fake. The characteristics do not vary, but the object needed for evolution does.
To get these items, we have to go to Marinade Town and go to the auctions. There, we can acquire both items. Once we have them, we give the Pokémon the indicated item and we will see how it evolves.
More features of Sinistea
Sinistea can also be used to evolve other Pokémon such as Charcadet , however, the process requires a few steps. If you want to know the method, you can check out our complete guide on how to get Armarouge and Ceruledge.
