Nutrition and dietetics are the same?

  • Carbohydrates;
  • Fats and lipids;

Another most significant object of study of nutritionists is acid-base balance.

Tasks and achievements of science

The global challenge of nutritional science is to determine the impact of malnutrition (when some components are lacking in the diet, and some are too many) on the human body and longevity.

In addition, representatives of this science are looking for ways to restore health and prevent the development of all kinds of diseases by cleaning the body and eliminating the lack of especially important macro- and micronutrients using an established nutrition system.

Nutritionology is inextricably linked with dietary supplements. Since, in fact, the complexes of additives are also food. According to nutritionists, a properly selected complex of dietary supplements can balance a person’s nutrition.

Key goals of science:

  • Study of the relationship between eating behavior and human mental health;
  • Carrying out clinical studies aimed at a complete and high-quality study of the effects of food intake at the cellular and bionic levels. Nutritionists also study the physiological effect of dietary supplements and dietary components on the life and health of sick and healthy people;
  • The search for methods of increasing the body’s immunity to infectious diseases;
  • Issues of elimination of “toxins”, detoxification of the body, prevention of oncology and cardiovascular diseases with the help of proper nutrition;
  • Correction of diets taking into account various chronic pathologies;
  • Finding ways to eliminate the lack of vital macro- and micronutrients with the help of well-established nutrition.
