How does the Battle Pass work? Models and price
The MultiVersus Battle Pass is a tier and reward system that rotates over time and lasts for several weeks or months (for example, Season 1 lasts a couple of months or so).
Throughout a Battle Pass, players can earn rewards from two types of Battle Pass models or routes :
- Free Pass Model: All players always have access to various free rewards that can be claimed upon reaching their levels.
- Premium Pass Model: Players can purchase the paid version of the pass for 950 Gleamium to unlock access to various premium rewards.
It is worth mentioning that players who purchase the premium pass will always be able to obtain enough Gleamium among their rewards to acquire the following battle passes “for free” with the Gleamium obtained in the previous season.
How to level up the pass
All tiers or stages of the MultiVersus Battle Pass can be advanced by accumulating Battle Pass XP points .
Battle Pass XP points can be earned in the following ways:
- Playing games: Just by playing games you will receive small amounts of points towards the pass.
- Completing daily or weekly missions: Keep an eye out for these types of missions as many can grant you Pass XP.
- Complete Timed Event Missions – There may often be timed or limited events that offer rewards such as Pass XP.
Battle Pass Rewards
The MultiVersus Battle Pass features over 50 tiers of various rewards (in Season 1, for example, there are up to 70 tiers). Throughout these tiers, players can unlock cosmetic content that is then saved forever in their account, as well as upgrade coins and more.
Given the changing and temporary nature of each pass, below we are only going to list the general categories of rewards that may appear in each battle pass (i.e. we are not showing the specific items):
- New character/fighter
- Profile icon
- Fighter coins
- Upgrade Coins
- Badge
- Gleamium
- Sticker
- Banner
- Visual effects of expulsions
- Character variant
- Gestures
It’s also worth mentioning that once you reach the final tier of Battle Pass rewards, it will be repeatable , meaning you can still keep playing and earning more gem-boosting loot as an additional reward until the season ends and a new, different pass becomes available.
