Muhammad ﷺ wrote the Qur’an?

May I ask – about the people who wrote the first Qur’an? ” (You said that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did not know how to read and write, and his friends wrote the Qur’an after his death). Did you add or delete any verse from the Qur’an?

You are most welcome to review the facts and consider for yourself

Muhammad (may peace and blessings be upon him) did not write the Qur’an. He was not able to do so, because he was illiterate. He did not know how to read or write and there are many who attest to this fact.

No one “invented” the Qur’an. The Qur’an reached Muhammad ﷺ from Almighty God (Allah) through the angel Gabriel (Jibril in Arabic) and then he was memorized by him and he, in turn, taught his companions orally.

Who was the first to recite the Qur’an?

The word “Qur’an” really means “Recitation” (spoken words). How do you “write sounds” recite sounds? – You only write what you hear and represent with pen and ink on paper. In fact, people can only write the words they hear from the “Qur’an” (Recital) as Muhammad ﷺ recited it to them. The actual tone and sound are not really captured on paper.

When we have the Qur’an in the form of a written book, it is generally referred to as “scripture” (“mus-haf” in Arabic), although it is still the Qur’an for us. So, while it is naturally possible to write in book form, which we hear in one way or another, the main point is that Muhammad ﷺ did not invent, invented or invented the words in the Qur’an. And there would be no way that he could, being illiterate and unable to read or write.

According to the teachings of the Qur’an, he came directly to Muhammad ﷺ from the angel Gabriel (Ar. Jibril), who received it from Almighty God (Allah) and then recited it to Muhammad ﷺ, part by part, sentence by sentence , revealing small and large portions of it over a period of 23 years.

The true assembly and order of the verses was never changed by Muhammad ﷺ. It was Jibril, the Angel of God, who instructed what should go to which place, as the Qur’an was being revealed.

Is it necessary to write to keep it?

“If Muhammad ﷺ couldn’t read / write, then his friends needed to write the Qur’an (like the Bible) – right?

NO! Again, they didn’t need to write to preserve it, although they did. They all memorized it completely from what they heard.

Some of them wrote it on animal skins, others on large stones or palm leaves, because the prophet Muhammad ﷺ, instructed them to do so. So, they wrote what they heard and this is the Qur’an in written form. They all memorized the Qur’an for themselves and passed it on in the same way that they did it. The word of mouth memorization method is still used in the same way today for modern Muslims.

Could they have misinterpreted it, or would they possibly have modified or added or removed any verses from the Qur’an? ”

NO! Allah tells us in the Qur’an itself: “If you have doubts about it, bring a book like it” – So, we see that it is a book, yes. But it is not the same as an ordinary book written or composed by human beings and this is our main point here.

Now, here is your chance to verify these claims, as the Qur’an makes these claims within itself about its own authenticity:

“This is the Book (Quran) in which there is no doubt” [Holy Quran 2: 2]

“Didn’t the unbelievers consider that, if it were someone other than God, he would have many contradictions?” [Holy Quran 4:82]

“If you are in doubt about it, bring a book like it.” [Holy Quran 2:23]

To date, none have been able to produce anything, even close to the Qur’an in beauty, style, meaning and prophecy. Scientific evidence and evidence make the Koran the most talked about book in the intellectual world today.
