Minecraft Origins mod All Origins
Races:
- Human: an ordinary person
- Avians: Can’t fall, drift downwards (canceled with Shift), can only sleep at 86+ blocks, move faster, lay an egg in the morning, can’t eat meat.
- Arachnid: You can climb any wall (press G), and when attacking an enemy, you’ll place a web underneath them. You won’t get stuck in webs, and you can see monsters underground. You can’t eat vegetables, and your hearts are reduced by 3.
- Elytrian: You have Elytra mounts and can fly on them, as well as take to the air every 30 seconds (press G). While in low-ceilinged dungeons, you feel weak and slow. You cannot wear heavy armor, take increased damage from falls, and deal increased damage while flying.
- Shulk: You have 9 additional storage slots (press G) that preserve items upon death. You have natural protection from thick skin, and you can break stone with your hands. Your arms are too bulky to hold a shield vertically, and you have a large appetite.
- Catman: You don’t take fall damage, you can jump high while sprinting, you have one less heart, unless you’re under a strength potion, you can’t break rocks if there are more than two other rocks adjacent to it. You repel creepers; they run away from you and will only explode if you attack them. You see better in the dark.
- Enderian: You can throw Ender Pearls (press G) and teleport without taking damage. You take damage from water and are afraid of pumpkins (equipping one makes you invisible). You have a long body, allowing you to reach distant blocks and creatures.
- Merlin: You can breathe underwater, but on the surface you’ll lose air (as before). Your vision underwater is perfect, and you can break blocks just as quickly as on the surface. You move faster underwater and don’t drown while in one place.
- Fireborn: You are immune to fire and lava. Upon death, you respawn in the nether. While burning, you deal additional damage. You are immune to poison and hunger. You take damage from water.
- Phantom: You have two states. In phantomized mode (press G), you’re invisible and can pass through any block except obsidian. In normal mode, you’re translucent and burn in sunlight. As a phantom, you quickly become hungry and have three hearts less health.
The main feature of Origins is choosing your character’s Origin at the start of the game. Each Origin provides unique abilities and limitations that directly impact survival. For example, some characters thrive underwater, while others gain speed or jumping bonuses but suffer from fire or sun damage.
What origins are there in fashion?
In the basic version of the Origins mod, the player chooses one of several origins, and from that point on, Minecraft plays completely differently. The simplest option is Human. It has no bonuses or restrictions, making it the choice for those who want classic gameplay without any surprises.Avian is perfect for those who enjoy speed and jumping. This character is faster than average and easily overcomes obstacles, but cannot eat meat and suffers from poor health if sleeping low underground. Arachnid allows you to climb walls and use webs, but requires caution in combat and is unforgiving of mistakes.
If you prefer water, Merling is a good choice. It breathes underwater and swims quickly, but becomes noticeably weaker on land. Blazeborn, on the other hand, thrives in fire and lava, gaining immunity to flames, but cold biomes and the overworld pose challenges.
The Enderian resembles the Enderman: it can teleport but takes damage from water. The Elytrian emphasizes flight and mobility, though it struggles with heavy armor. Each Origin has strengths and weaknesses, so choosing your Origin directly determines your survival style and makes each new world unique.
