Medieval Dynasty is a new survival simulator set in the Middle Ages. In addition to the indicators of hunger, thirst, fatigue and health that are usual for this kind of games, the game has a character leveling system that allows you to improve the existing characteristics of the controlled hero, as well as gain access to new opportunities. However, in order to progress along it, you will need to devote a lot of time to hunting and its derivatives. This animal guide will simplify the process.

There are two types of animals in the game. Farm animals and wild. The former allow you to receive resources stably, and the latter you can only get them if you kill the beast.

Farm animals

There are five types of pets in the game.

1. Chickens –Bring eggs and feathers needed for crafting. An adult costs 1000 coins, a chicken 500. Sold in Borovo and Rolnik.
2. Pigs –Creates dung that can be used to improve land with crops. A boar is sold for 2000, a pig for 1500, a pig for 1000. You can buy them in Rolnik and in a settlement nearby.

4. Sheep –bring the wool needed to make things. A ram is purchased for 3500 coins, a sheep for 3000 and a lamb for 2500. All of them can be found in Baranitsa and Denik.
5. Cowsbring milk. The most useless resource, since it is not yet used in crafting. The only thing it can be used for is thirst quenching. An adult cow costs 5,000, and a calf costs 4,500. Both are sold in Gostovye. The most expensive animal in the game, and also the most useless.
6. Goatsare cheaper than cows and can reproduce, but they are inferior to them in the quality of work. A goat costs 2,000 coins, a goat 2,500, a goat 2,000. Purchased only in Denik. As well as a cow, it is not recommended for purchase.

Of the above list, pigs deserve the most attention. Try to breed them first, as the manure they produce will increase the profit from your fields.

Also pay attention to the sheep. Their wool can be used to make very nice clothes, but in order to quickly create one you need to buy a whole herd. It is best to do this when you have already established the production of other resources.

All pets need food, which must be kept in a resource box or bag in the pet house. In order not to do all this yourself, you can assign a worker for the animals who will feed the animals and collect the resources they produce.

Most farm animals are divided into females and males. Together they can create offspring, thereby increasing their population for free. This is very beneficial, but it must be borne in mind that with an increase in the number of animals, not only the amount of resources obtained, but also the consumption of food increases. If you cannot feed a large number of animals, then you should get rid of a few extra ones, otherwise there is a risk of losing them all.

Wild animals

There are many more wild animals in the game than domestic ones, but they cannot be tamed. Just kill and collect useful materials from them. In order to butcher an animal you need to have a stone knife with you. It can also be used as a weapon, but even a simple spear will be much better. The durability of the knife does not decrease when you butcher a corpse, so you only need one for the entire game.

1. The rabbit is the weakest of the wild beasts. Dies from one blow of a spear, and can also be trapped in the appropriate trap. When a player is found, it starts to run away. In spring and summer, it is very difficult to spot it among the tall grass. The ideal solution would be to sneak up on him with ctrl and throw a spear.

Deer –you can remove a lot more resources from it than from a fox or a rabbit, but it will also be much more difficult to kill it. If he finds you, he will not attack, but he will run away very quickly. To kill a deer, sneak up on it and inflict as many blows as possible, and then throw a spear at the fleeing beast. If you have done enough damage, then the beast will slow down and you can catch up with it and finish it off. If the damage was not enough and the beast ran away, then use the left alt to see where the deer ran, and then finish it off. The doe hunt is the same.
4. The wolf is apredator that will start attacking you if it spots you. One blow to the head or three to the body is enough to kill him.
5. The boar is avery fast animal that will attack you even if you are still relatively far away. You can understand that the boar is attacking by the sound of the hooves. As soon as you understand where the wild boar is running from, start running in the opposite direction, firing back along the way, if possible. Sooner or later, the beast will stop chasing and you can sneak up and kill him.
6. The bison is avery strong and dangerous animal. One hit from him removes about half of your health. Do not try to sneak up on him, but rather shoot back, stepping back. The bison is very slow, so if you have enough spears or arrows, you can easily kill it.
7. The bear is avery rare and very dangerous animal. If you are going to hunt a bear, then prepare well. Tactics with shooting on the run will not help here because of the high speed of the bear, so try to lure him somewhere where there will be an obstacle between you and the beast. It will be even better if you can climb this obstacle and shoot the bear safely from there.

All wild animals are reborn approximately twice a day. Thanks to this, you can create a whole route, passing along which you can collect the maximum number of trophies. Below is a map showing the habitats of all wild animals.

Here are some more tips to help you when hunting:

• Throw spears at the fleeing animals. If you do not have the appropriate skill and you do not have time to finish off the animal and see where it ran away, then the first thing to do is throw a spear at it. Then press alt and see where your spear has moved, sticking out in the beast.

• Don’t be greedy when preparing. Prepare more spears of arrows in advance. You can always cut down a tree nearby and make a weapon out of it, but in this case, there is a great chance that you will frighten off the prey or, even worse, will be suddenly attacked by a boar or a wolf.
• Attack fast. If you run up to the beast fast enough, then you will have time to deliver one blow before he notices you. This is especially useful in biomes with aggressive beasts, as you can slow down the beast before the chase starts, which could result in other beasts attacking you.
• Wear only the essentials. Leave all unnecessary resources in your settlement before you go hunting. All you need is weapons and food. Water and plantains that restore health are usually always enough throughout the map.
• Traps should be placed in the same place where rabbits live, that is, in the depths of forests and clearings and always away from roads. You do not need to lure the rabbit to the trap, he will fall into it after a while if you go far enough.
• Advice for hunting bison and bears. Bison and bears are the toughest animals in the game. Fighting in close combat with them is stupid and ineffective. However, this does not mean that you will need a prohibitive number of copies. Only 3-4 is enough to significantly slow down the beast. The enemy will slowly approach you while you pick out old spears from him and immediately throw them back.
