We have discussed the characteristics of millennials and generation Z. (Read: Four Generations One World ). It is undeniable that this group is being targeted by various business actors. All seem to be competing to be able to target the group that currently has taken a large percentage of this nation. Because it is important to change your marketing strategy to win their hearts. A strategy that can reach them in an instant way. This characteristic is clearly inseparable from technology. Both Y and Z generations who were born in this era of technological development will always follow the existing developments. So that if you don’t take into account the technological elements in it, you can be sure how you will experience difficulties and compete.

Improve your social media

Just try to compare which ones are easier for millennials to accept, information via email or via social media? Of course the answer is through social media. Or, which one is also easier to receive, a message in the form of a sentence or a picture? Yes, pictures. Today’s generation prefers everything visual.

Even to set preferences, millennials will use their social media. How they choose where to eat, how they determine their fashion style , and various things that are important in their daily life. Social media can no longer be separated from their lives, even as if it has become a “book” in itself. Not only for those who seek direction, but even for lifestyle “creators” who are often referred to.

Keep up with technology developments

Today, business people are not only competing to be accessible but also to be owned. Just look at how online transactions can be made easier, it only takes seconds. Not to mention the bonuses that are obtained both in the form of points and cashback . All of them provide added value for millennials to make choices. I am not saying that millennials will no longer go down to traditional markets or will not transact using cash. This of course still happens because not all cities and regions can accommodate this method of transaction.

Be sure to always be innovative
