Gliders and wings are one of the main modes of movement in ArcheAge . These items add new possibilities when fighting other players, and also change the outcome of the battle thanks to special skills. This guide lists all existing gliders. Most of them cannot be obtained or found at auction.
Gliders
The glider is placed in the cargo slot and allows the character to float in the air. It is controlled by standard WASD control keys. W speeds up the flight, S, on the contrary, slows down, A and D control the movement to the left or right. Each glider has a vertical rise, which allows you to rise a couple of meters higher every few seconds.
The disadvantage of a glider is that any damage can knock it down while flying. Some have the invulnerability skill, but it is impossible to use it immediately after take off, so someone can have time to shoot down. The flight is terminated with the R key or three minutes after takeoff. Turbulence acts in the sea, which prevents the glider from taking off. It is not possible to use glider transfiguration on wings and vice versa.
Simple glider
This glider is intended for beginners, so low costs are required. For crafting, you need the following materials: blueprint (sold in Mirage for one Delphic star), packaging of construction wood x5, iron ingot x2, cloth x3, rawhide x3. Useful for creating an improved glider.

Improved glider
Characters above the tenth level will be able to use this glider. To create it, you only need a simple glider and a drawing. Blueprint for sale in Mirage for five Delphic stars.

Reinforced glider
The fortified glider can be worn by characters above level 15. The blueprint is sold in the Mirage for ten Delphic Stars. It is also required for the manufacture of an improved glider.

Speed glider
Suitable for characters above level 20. The blueprint is sold in the Mirage for 15 Delphic stars and requires a reinforced glider when crafting. Used to create the following gliders: Albatross, Red Dragon, Bat and Swallowtail.

Glider “Albatross”
Crafting requires the following materials: a blueprint from the game store for 150 Delphic stars , a high-speed glider, a lightning bomb, a lightweight wing and a steering gear. All materials cost no more than 1000 gold. Requires 1000 Engineering Proficiency.

Glider “Bat”
The blueprint for this glider can also be found in the in-game store for 150 Delphic Stars. Instead of a lightning bomb, a cloaking device is required when creating.

“Moon Shadow” makes the character invisible for 30 seconds (cooldown: 60 seconds).
Glider “Machaon”
This glider is very popular due to the skill that gives invulnerability in the air. This means that when hitting, it is impossible to throw the player to the ground. It is crafted similarly to the two previous gliders, and reflective shields are used instead of a lightning bomb or cloaking device.

Glider “Red Dragon”
This glider is capable of knocking the character off the wings. It uses an accelerator and a blueprint for 150 Delphic stars.

“Battering ram” allows you to dive at the enemy at a distance of 40 meters and inflict him, as well as surrounding enemies within a radius of three meters, 2500-3000 damage units and knock them down. The pilot himself will receive 5000-8000 damage units (cooldown: 60 seconds).

Special skills:
Firestorm knocks enemies down for ten seconds and inflicts continuous fire damage. Does not work on siege and other vehicles. To use this skill, you must be no higher than 15 meters above the ground.
Glider designs
These gliders are used as exterior only. To do this, you need to use a transfiguration . Please note that not all gliders can be transformed.

Wings
The wings are the same gliders, but they cannot be knocked off with regular attacks. Turbulence also interferes with wing-flying at sea. When using this glider, parrying, blocking and dodging attacks become unavailable, and all damage taken is increased by 50%. When braking, the wings hang in the air and slowly descend.
The advantage over gliders is that special skills are used immediately upon takeoff. For example, a swallowtail can be knocked down before using invulnerability, and the wings of the Blood Legion gain invulnerability for five seconds upon takeoff. After take-off, not only invulnerability will be imposed, but also a debuff that will not impose invulnerability during takeoff for 45 seconds.
Rocket glider “Andelf bomber”
It could be obtained from chests and in a game event. These are the only wings that do not have vertical lift.

3000 RPM increases the power of the jet engine and dashes forward (rollback: 30 seconds).
Deadly Dive dives at a distance of 50 meters and slams into enemies within a radius of four meters, inflicting 2500 – 3500 Shadow damage. damage from spells and knocking them down for two seconds, while taking damage equal to 25% of maximum health. Additionally, the character will receive fall damage depending on the height from which the fatal dive was made (cooldown: 60 seconds).
Deathcaster Wings Glider
These wings only drop from the chest. After taking off, makes the character invisible for three seconds. The effect can be reused after 45 seconds.

Crystalline Anomaly allows you to descend into a target area and create a crystalline anomaly with a radius of six meters for six seconds. The accuracy of hits in melee and ranged attacks, as well as the accuracy of spells of enemies caught in them are reduced by 20%. They also have the Bleeding effect.
Crystalline Anomaly reduces the movement speed of enemies in range by 10%, and their Dexterity by 100. The effect stacks up to five times (cooldown: 60 seconds).
