How to upgrade weapons and tools?
To upgrade weapons and tools in your LEGO Fortnite game, you will need to build the workbench called “Essence Table” in your world . This bench can be crafted through the construction menu and its recipe is unlocked in the Tools section when you already have some of its necessary resources , which are the following:
- Flexwood x20:This resource can be obtained by cutting down trees or cacti in the Dry Valley biome, only with a rare or higher quality forestry axe.
- x6 Cut Amber –Can be obtained by refining raw amber at the Gemcutter’s workbench, which is obtained by destroying ores high on the plateaus in the Dry Valley with a Rare Pickaxe or higher.

Once you have accumulated enough of these resources, simply craft the Essence Table and you are ready to start using it.
All the essences to improve weapons and tools
Through the Essence Table you can “socket” essences into your weapons and tools to enhance different attributes (similar to enchantments, to put it another way).
You should keep in mind that each weapon has up to 3 slots or spaces at most to insert an essence, and each essence you want to apply also entails certain resource costs in the process.
There are currently up to 4 types of essences in LEGO Fortnite and they are the following:
