Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD: Where to Find Link’s Loftwing

At the beginning of Skyward Sword HD, Link’s Loftwing disappears and you must find him before the wing ceremony begins. This is the first mission in the game, but as you get your bearings it can get a bit tricky. Here’s where to find Link’s Loftwing in Skyward Sword HD .

Where to find Link’s Loftwing

The first thing you will have to do to continue in this quest is to talk to a character named Groose. It is located in the Plaza. Open your map with the minus button, observe where the square is and head in that direction.

Groose will be dating two of his friends, and you quickly discover that they are up to no good. Turns out they have something to do with Link’s disappearance from Loftwing.

After talking to them, you’ll want to head to Sparring Hall near your starting point. A guy named Fledge will be there and admit he knows where your Loftwing is. Talk to him, then head to Sparring Hall and the back of the building to retrieve your sword.

You can do the sword tutorial here if you want or just go. Look at your card; then we headed to the waterfall at Skyloft. Fledge should have marked it on your card.

At the top of the ridge near the waterfall, you will see wooden sticks blocking the entrance to a cave. Finish them off with your sword and fight your way through the cave. There are enemies here, so be careful.

After carefully walking through the cave, exit at the opposite end. There will be a short cutscene with Zelda as you continue down the path outside. You’ll see Link’s Crimson Loftwing locked up nearby.

You have to use your sword to cut the ropes at each end to free the Loftwing. Once you’ve done that, you can practice flying for the wing ceremony.

That’s all you need to know where to find Link’s Loftwing in Skyward Sword HD . For more tips and tricks, be sure to check out our Skyward Sword HD wiki guide.
