KingsRoad — secrets, guides for leveling up a hero

In the summer of 2014, the servers of the Rumble Games company began their work, releasing their new online project Kings Road (translated as “The Path of Kings”). In our walkthrough of the game Kings Road , we will figure out what is so special about this game and how to properly pump up characters of a particular class.

Features of KingsRoad

  • Beautiful graphics
  • A huge number of game locations
  • Three game classes
  • Facebook integration
  • A wide arsenal of various weapons
  • Exciting PvP and PvE battles

Plot and mechanics

According to the plot of the game ” King Road “, the main character must fight merciless monsters, whose army numbers hundreds of thousands of terrible creatures, return peace to their lands, and also save the young and insanely beautiful princess Emma.
The gameplay is practically no different from most MMORPGs . You can fight monsters, friends and random opponents, trade, buy new more powerful weapons, upgrade them. The same applies to armor. Having won the battle, you can collect all the dropped loot – gold and other useful items. In addition, the reward for victories in battles is a certain number of points. You then spend these points to acquire new abilities, improve existing ones. We will talk about this a little later.

Next in the KingsRoad guide we will consider three game classes and describe which abilities are best to acquire and improve. First, you should know that there are two types of abilities in the game – active and passive. Passive abilities, as you understand, are constantly working and help you in battles. Active abilities must be turned on during the battle and help for a certain time – one, two or three minutes. By the way, at the time of writing the walkthrough of the KingsRoad game, you could choose from sixteen passive and fourteen active “perks”.

Secrets of leveling up a Knight

Knight class fighters in KingsRoad are the so-called “tanks”. Such characters, along with the fact that they inflict crushing damage on their enemies, do not particularly hide from their attacks, so they also take a considerable amount of damage. Pump up this character by picking up stones to increase the damage inflicted on enemies. Do not forget that the speed of the attacks themselves also has a huge impact in battles. For example, if your knight inflicts about 500 units of damage to a character and attacks every 10 seconds, then the main character, whose attack speed reaches three hits in 10 seconds, and whose strength is 200 units, will inflict more damage to the enemy in the same time.
When buying things or choosing what to dress the Knight in, look for bonuses to enhance attacks, increase the speed of movement and inflicting blows. Remember about critical hits. So, from the active skills for this character, we recommend using Whirlwind, Crush, Patronage, Dash, Tremor, Cleave and Throw. As for passive skills, here they are all aimed at increasing health, defense and damage – Defense, Regeneration, Strength, Vulnerability, Endurance and Focus. The Knight is the only warrior who can fight with two weapons at the same time – we are talking about one-handed swords. Having pumped the hero to Level 40, you can safely go on solo campaigns, in search of treasures or secret maps.

Archer Leveling Secrets

Secrets of passing KingsRoad are useful because you can learn in advance how to properly pump the character and avoid unnecessary problems and surprises at high levels of the game. The Archer has much worse armor than the Knight. Therefore, do not even think about using him in close combat. The main tactic of fighting the Archer is to keep a distance from enemies. Again, he is not able to inflict devastating damage to enemies, but the combination of rate of fire and mobility makes him quite a dangerous opponent, both for monsters and for other players in PvP battles.

The emphasis when developing the character is on increasing damage and increasing the mana reserve.
From passive skills, we advise you to choose Strength, Focus, Acceleration, Mana Drain, Endurance, Vulnerability and Health Steal. Then, when choosing active perks, you should definitely take: Poison and Fire Arrows, Sniper, Death Mark, Decoy and Penetrating Shot. And if the Knight can go on solo journeys only after level 40, then in the case of the Archer, such “tours” can be made with the maximum pumped perk “Bait”. The Archer never enters into close contact, and therefore risks less, to get in the forehead from some not weak boss, but this class of hero is more difficult and takes longer to pump than the Knight.

Secrets of leveling up a Mage

The mage is in last place among the three classes in terms of armor strength and health. But at the same time, it is the mages who are the most interesting characters, who can be developed in different ways. Attacking from long distances, mages can use the power of water, air, fire and earth. The mage can be not only a good addition to your team, but also a rather dangerous enemy. We recommend that everyone pump up the defensive skills of a character of this class. When choosing stones, focus on increasing damage and mana reserves. As for the bonuses from things, here you should take care of increasing the probability of critical damage and defense.
Choose the following passive skills: Strength, Vulnerability, Dodge, Vampire, Focus and Intelligence. As for the Archmage ability, it would be reasonable to pump it only after reaching level 60. From the active perks, choose: Freeze, Ice Armor, Fountain of Healing, Fireball, Snowstorm. This concludes the KingsRoad guide .
