Isabel Rigol Savio ( Havana , 1944 ) is a Cuban architect. She is a professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the José A. Echeverría Higher Polytechnic Institute . She is a relevant consultant and researcher. She presents an extensive catalog of her own and co-authored publications in specialized local and foreign magazines from nations such as Poland , Ecuador , Jamaica , Colombia , Germany and France .

Career path
She has been director for more than a decade of the National Center for Conservation, Restoration and Museology , in addition to taking part in important restoration projects such as the Santa Clara Convent and the Plaza Vieja , in the capital’s historic center, among other projects. Several provinces have also received the impact of it in the intervention of historical zones such as the Vicente García de Las Tunas Memorial and the Conservation Plans of Gibara , Holguín .
She is the author of an extensive catalog of specialized Cuban and foreign publications, and a consultant to international organizations such as the Council of Monuments and Sites and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco), on world heritage.
