Many Spotify users are being informed of a price increase for the music streaming service in Europe. Although it has not yet been confirmed in Spain, everything indicates that the monthly fee of several Spotify plans will receive another increase.
And it is that at the beginning of 2021 we saw how the Spotify Familiar increased in price , it was just 1 euro a month in Spain (from € 14.99 / month to € 15.99 / month), so it did not generate too much controversy. Remember that the Family plan admits up to 6 independent accounts, so the increase per person was very small.

Well, on this occasion the increase is already being communicated in the United Kingdom via email , and also to other European countries, but with different prices within Europe , which raises doubts as to what exact figures will apply to Spain.
In the UK, Spotify Duo goes up to £ 13.99 / month (previously £ 12.99 / month), the Student plan increases to £ 5.99 / month (up from £ 4.99 / month) and the Family plan at £ 16.99 / month (was £ 14.99 / month). It is not clear yet whether individual Spotify Premium will continue to cost £ 9.99 / month or will also go up a pound.
The possible increases in Spain (not yet confirmed) would be the following:

Regarding individual Spotify Premium, it is speculated that it could cost € 10.99 / month (instead of € 9.99 / month), but it has not been confirmed.
Some European users affirm that their Spotify Familiar goes to € 17.99 / month , but it seems doubtful to us that this figure applies in Spain, since it was very recently that their quota was readjusted.
