KMSPico is a key management system for activating Microsoft products, such as Windows and Office. Microsoft uses MAK (Multiple Activation Keys) and KMS (Key Management System) for volume-based Windows activation. MAK keys are used to call the Microsoft server in a similar way to Windows-active KMS clients by calling the KMS server on the local network instead of Microsoft’s.
KMSPico replaces the original key with the volume license key and creates an emulated instance of the KMS server locally avoiding online activation. So your Windows system cannot connect to the server online and continues to work with that replaced license key thinking that it is the original key. That is why the antivirus and Windows Defender detect KMSPico as a virus.
This does not mean that all KMSPico on the Internet is real and virus-free. If you install a fake KMSPico, your PC will be full of malware.
I have also used KMSPico and it worked fine without giving my machine any problems (Windows 10). But now I use the HWID Windows Activator . I also don’t use any antivirus app because Windows Defender works great on Windows 10 .
Some site says that KMSPico is harmful (like this one ) but it is only harmful if you download and install a fake activator. Below I have left some links to download the official KMSPico Windows activator.
How do I download the Official KMSPico?
I recommend using HWIDGen instead of KMSPico. There are many websites that claim to be the official site of KMSPico but unfortunately there is no official site. There is an official KMSPico forum (here is the official forum , by the way) that contains KMSPico and other KMS tools. You may need to register to view and download from there. For your convenience, I have provided the direct download link for KMSPico and other KMS tools at the end of this post.
Never download KMSPico from any website there is no official site for it as the creator of KMSPico said;

Disable the antivirus, firewall, and defender’s real-time scan before extracting files. The antivirus can delete those files without informing you. Don’t forget to open the readme.txt file , which contains all the information about installation and activation.

- So far for Windows 6,7,8,8.1,10 it will automatically reactivate it often, so yes.
- Is it only active for 30 or 45 days?
- It is not possible in real kilometers to activate a ProWMC / Core, but thanks to the emulator it is possible to activate it for 30 days in W8 and 45 days for W8.1.
