Is it justice for unbelievers to burn in hell?

The first of these requires situations such as torment and punishment. Those in the second group require beauty, forgiveness and grace. The third kind of adjectives demand and require greatness and greatness.

Just as God has infinite mercy, He also has infinite torment. We neglect this. However, Allah is qualified with all these attributes. Below are a few items about the troubles in the apocalypse. People do not suffer the punishment for their crimes for as long as the time they committed this crime. They are punished according to the consequences of the crime they committed.

Would it be justice for a murderer who killed a man in one second to be punished for one second? The murder committed by the unbeliever in a seemingly short time is very serious. For this reason, he must stay in hell forever and ever so that it will be a punishment for his crime.

Essentially, blasphemy is such a great crime that it should not be forgiven. However, since Allah’s mercy exceeds His wrath, He saves the unbelievers from destruction and allows them to survive. As a matter of fact, if they sentenced someone to death for killing a single man, he would of course be happy to hear that his sentence was commuted to life imprisonment while he was waiting for his execution. Likewise, it is a gift that the punishment of an unbeliever who deserves to be destroyed is commuted to life imprisonment, that is, to stay in hell forever.

– What is the murder committed by the unbeliever?

All beings in the universe bear witness to the existence and unity of Allah. A man who denies these has committed as much murder as the universe. Moreover , since it is a disrespect and disregard for the rights of those beings,  it is an endless murder.

As you know, the origin of diamonds and coal is carbon. However, due to the difference in sequence, one is diamond and the other is coal. Something that has now become coal no longer has the possibility of becoming a diamond. No matter how long it remains, it is coal. Here, the essence of man is the same. His father is Adam (as), his structure is soil. But due to the difference in formation, one is like a diamond and the other is like coal. Since the yeast of someone who chooses to be an unbeliever and dies as an unbeliever is spoiled, he has lost the diamond, that is, the feature of having faith, no matter how long he lives. Therefore, if he had stayed forever, he would have lived as an infidel.  This means that the murder of the unbeliever is endless.

God has given endless blessings to humans. For example, one of these is the feeling of infinity. This feeling is given so that we can understand the eternal God and the existence of the afterlife where we will live forever. Denying such an eternal feeling and not being thankful for this blessing is an eternal crime.

Allah’s essence, attributes and names are infinite. Denying an eternal being and his attributes is an eternal murder.

It is justice to give endless punishment to someone who commits endless murders like these; It is a gift and blessing from Allah that it does not destroy the child but turns it into a life sentence.

Bediüzzaman has discussed this issue from various aspects in many treatises and has provided explanations that will convince the mind and satisfy the heart.

An unbeliever commits endless murder with his denial . Because:

– Responding to the evidence of unity with blasphemy,
– Responding
to blessings with blasphemy, – Accusing and insulting beings as unworthy,
– Rejecting and denying the manifestations of the Divine Names.

Each of these is an eternal murder.  Namely:

– The evidence of God’s existence and unity is endless. Denial of this much evidence is an endless murder.

– Allah’s blessings are endless. “From his organs, the cells that make up them, to his soul and the countless feelings attached to him; On the other hand, from the earth on which it constantly travels, to the air it breathes in at every moment, from night to day, from the sun to the moon; On the other hand, if a person who is blessed with countless blessings ranging from vegetables, fruits, milk, honey and halal meats that are given to him for nutrition, rebels against Allah by denying all these, he will have responded to all blessings with blasphemy and committed an endless murder. .

– Both the beings that take part in our own body and the beings that surround us and come to our aid in every way are very valuable works . It is not within human ability to do any of them. Not paying attention to all these miracles and the wisdom, meanings and blessings attached to them, and not finding them worth thinking about, is again an eternal crime.

– The truth of every being is based on one or more names. The world of existence is full of manifestations of Divine names. Not taking these beings into consideration means not taking into consideration the names and names that are manifested in them. This, on the other hand, constitutes a rebellion against the infinite majesty of God Almighty and thus constitutes an endless murder. The most important of these beings is the human being himself. If man, who has the honor of being a mirror to all the names of Allah, who has the grace of being his guest and an invitee to his paradise, who has become the caliph of the earth with the sublimity of his talent, uses this superior nature and ability on the path of unbelief and rebellion, he has used the manifestations of all the names manifested in him in the path of evil and rebellion. Thus, he would be committing a great rudeness towards those names. This alone is a great and endless murder.

One of Bediuzzaman’s explanations about why a person who dies as an unbeliever should remain in hell forever is as follows:

“Question: The sin of an unbeliever is limited, it occupies a short time. Punishment with an eternal and non-eternal punishment is not in accordance with Divine justice, nor does it comply with eternal wisdom. Divine Mercy does not allow it. ?

Answer: If it is accepted that the punishment of that unbeliever is non-existent (infinite), it is proven that the crime of disbelief committed in a short time is a non-existent murder, in six ways:

First: If an unbeliever who dies because of blasphemy lives an eternal life, there is no doubt that he will spend his non-eternal life in blasphemy. Because the essence of the unbeliever’s soul has been corrupted. In this respect, that corrupted heart has a tendency to commit an unearthly murder. Therefore, eternal punishment is not contrary to justice.

Second: The sin of that unbeliever; Even though it is in an interconnected time, it is a non-existent murder against the testimony of the non-existent universe to unity.

Third: Since blasphemy is the blasphemy of non-eternal blessings, it is a non-eternal murder.

Fourth: Blasphemy is a murder against the extraterrestrial person and the attribute of God.

Fifth: Although man’s conscience is outwardly eternal, inwardly he looks to eternity and desires eternity. In this respect, that conscience, which is in the judgment of the otherworldly, is destroyed by being contaminated with unbelief.

Sixth: Even though the opposite is similar to its opposite, it is similar in many respects. Therefore, just as faith entails the pleasures of eternal life, unbelief is also due to the fact that it entails the worldly worlds and eternity in the hereafter. The result that comes from these six aspects and a punishment that is not interconnected is the same justice against a non-existent murder.” (see Nursi, İşaratü’l-İcaz)

-Does a person want to disappear?

1.  When a person thinks consciously and consciously, he will see that he has infinite feelings and thoughts. In other words, he carries in his soul the desire to remain eternal and eternal and to be always with his friends. For this reason, it is not possible for him to want to disappear consciously and consciously. As a matter of fact, a man who is wanted to be executed sees a life sentence as a reward. Just as when he feels sleepy, he falls asleep even though he doesn’t want to, and if you ask him, he knows that he doesn’t want to sleep and that he will have an accident if he is the driver. However, he cannot stand the feeling and falls asleep and has an accident. His job is to stop the car, rest, and then hit the road. Likewise, people who want death think that they want to perish because they cannot endure a disease or calamity. However, if they were to rest and rest spiritually for a while, they would not even think of the name of non-existence. Moreover, those who want non-existence think only in terms of worldly life. They want to do this by saying that there is eternal life anyway, and secretly longing for an eternal and infinite world.

2.  No one will perish, whether he believes in it or not. Every human being and jinn who go to heaven or hell will exist eternally and will be rewarded for the infinite feelings given to them.

3.  When a person thinks consciously, he will not want to destroy so that God can destroy him. Each nucleus has the property of being a tree. Despite this, it may seem normal that a seed does not want to go into the soil and become a tree while it is in the bag. However, when he sees the tree, he will realize how wrong he was and apologize. It is not difficult to understand how a person who is like a seed in the world’s bag will apologize and beg when he sees that he is a tree in eternity.

Unbelievers Want to Become Dust at the Resurrection:

When a person acts with emotion rather than reason, he does not know what to do and cannot realize something that is for or against him. For this reason, it is possible to explain the situation of those who commit suicide even though they are unbelievers and do not know the afterlife. Because even if an animal is satisfied with its life,  for example if it knows that you will beat it or kill it, it will try to escape. So, he loves his life –  of course, people are more expected to be satisfied with their lives.

It is not the mind and perception that want death, but the feeling and enthusiasm that does not see the outcome.

In the Surah Amme, the unbelievers’ wish to become dust does not mean wanting to perish, but  “I wish we were like soil so that we would not be in this situation  . ” As a matter of fact, they will say, “We wish we had become dust, not that we would have disappeared.”  Being soil also means being.

Their desire to become soil may also have a second meaning, namely, their desire to be humble. That is: “I wish I had not become proud in this world, if I had not been rebellious, if only I had been humble and believed and obeyed Allah.” means.
