In Fortnite you can now discover “The Secret of the Croft Estate”. The Croft estate in creative mode is not only worth seeing in terms of gameplay, but it also brings a payoff.
Lara Croft already celebrated her Fortnite debut in the Season 6 Battle Pass, now she has made her home to some extent as well. You can now explore Croft Manor in the game’s creative mode.
This is where the mode is: You can find “The Secret of the Croft Estate” mode in its own playlist, but you land directly in creative mode, where the villa was built. Alternatively, you can enter the villa through creative mode, or you can use the code “0116-9392-3142”.
Once you have arrived at the villa, you and your team must explore the secrets of the property. The map is an elaborately designed level that is packed with puzzles, and they challenge you in a different way than what you’re used to in normal Fortnite playlists.
Instead of direct duels, you must master the puzzles.
This is how the game goes at Croft Mansion
Here’s what the mode requires of you: Instead of jumping onto the Battle Royale island, grabbing the best weapons from Season 6, and shooting your opponents over the pile, you have to settle for a flashlight in “Croft Manor.” At first, you’ll use it to explore a dark hallway and library, collect puzzle pieces, and hit a few switches.
What follows after that is not one of the usual skirmishes, including quick build battles, but more of a puzzle game of sorts. With the help of various tools such as the bow, harpoon or hook, you have to solve small tasks and find the right ways to get ahead in the village.
The ground is lava, and you need a good path over it.
For example, you must find a safe way over lava, escape collapsing floors, or knock down switches to open secret doors. Don’t worry: if you get stuck, small blazing flames can point you in the right direction. Everything sounds less like Fortnite, but more like Tomb Raider, only in the “light” version. For example, you don’t need to wait for crazy climbing passages.
However, the village is definitely worth checking out if you like easy puzzles and are looking for a little change from fighting in Battle Royale mode. Incidentally, the creative mode offers even more maps that offer an unfamiliar game experience compared to Battle Royale:

Croft Manor isn’t just worth checking out if you’re looking for a change – there’s also a reward for your efforts. If you solve the puzzle around the village, you will receive a code with which you can get a special spray pattern. But you have to hurry here: the code can only be redeemed until March 31st.
