When introducing a character or symbol in the document, locate the insertion point in the document, in which you want the symbol to appear and press the symbol in the viewer, if the viewer is expanded, press twice on the symbol, when the Character viewer is expanded at the same time you can add multiple characters.

If you want to specify a symbol as a favorite, you must expand the viewer, choose a symbol and click on “Add to favorites” or move the symbol to “favorites” if it is in the sidebar.
