How to unlock the Megaloambistome Axolotl mount in Final Fantasy XIV

Since it’s one of the most eye-catching and cute mounts ever featured in a game, it’s only natural that the people at Square Enix would lock it up behind one of the most difficult pieces of content in Final Fantasy XIV. Yes, that’s right, Megaloambistoma Axolothil is a reward for completing one of the Pandemonium raids: Anabazios on Savage difficulty.
Unfortunately, Pandaemonium: Anabaseios (Savage) will remain locked until Tuesday, May 30 at 3:00 AM PT. So you will have to wait a bit for this to be unlocked, another week. It’s been hinted that the Megaloambystoma mount will be a rare drop in the Anabaseios: The Twelfth Circle (Savage) raid for eight people.

What is Axolotl Megaloambistoma in FFXIV?
The Axolotl Megaloambistoma is a giant version of the tiny Axolotl minion that was originally added to the Island Sanctuary content. Ambistoma is actually the scientific name for axolotls as they belong to the Ambistomatid family. Hence, Megaloambystoma literally means giant axolotl!
