How to unlock Bethany in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

The Binding of Isaac Repentance is the latest expansion for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, adding a combination of new original content and content from the popular Antibirth mod pack. The expansion includes two new characters, one of whom is named Bethany. Here’s how to unlock Bethany in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance.

Unlock Bethany by binding Isaac Repentance

Bethany can be unlocked by defeating Mom’s Heart as Lazarus, but there is a little catch. Lazarus begins with the Lazarus’ Rags item, which gives you a free respawn after an early, or in some cases, well-planned death. However, to unlock Bethany, you must beat Mommy’s heart as Lazarus without them appearing. This includes respawning through another item like Dead Cat or Guppy’s Collar. You cannot die at any point during this race to unlock Bethany.

Beating Mommy’s Heart is a relatively straightforward process for a veteran Isaac, as he’s only the second main boss in the game. However, if you’re new to the game or just starting to learn now that the regret is over, it can be a bit of a challenge.

To beat Mom’s Heart you have to reach the ground, Womb II and find the boss room, once you get something you have to fight Mom’s Heart. Try to kill the eyes on the ground fairly quickly as they serve as a distraction. Other than that, be prepared to dodge the tears that flow from Mommy’s heart and hurt her.

Once you beat Mom’s Heart, you will get the achievement for unlocking Bethany and it will be available in the start menu in your next race.

This is all you need to know how to unlock Bethany in Binding of Isaac Repentance . Be sure to search dlprivateserver for more tips and information on the game.
