How to train your aim in Overwatch?

In Overwatch as in any competitive online action and shooting game , aim plays a vital role, in order to win a game, the most experienced players base their success on being able to have total control when aiming, doing the most damage. possible, and adding many points, a common practice is the headshot , this needs a greater degree of precision when aiming.

In the game as such, there are 21 heroes available , each one with its advantages and weaknesses, this means that you will have to practice with each one of them, and get to know which one you feel most comfortable with when playing, this is very important because each one has weapons that favor them more than others.

How to train your aim in Overwatch?

There is a room that most players go to, when they want to practice with a weapon or just want to improve their game a bit, and this is the target practice room.

In it we will find a series of robots that will move frantically, trying not to be able to hit it, a useful tip may be that you point to a specific part of the robot’s body, and follow it with your sights to get used to the movement.

Another thing you can try is to go towards the robot without aiming and when you are close, aim quickly and try to hit it , you can start aiming at the torso , when you master it try aiming at the head.

A good practice would be to start a custom game and as an enemy you choose “ANA”, ANA is not programmed to give you headshots , and you will have more time to practice and master it.

How can I improve my aim if I play on console?

When it comes to playing on PC we have no major problem getting used to it since the mouse has much greater pressure than the joystick, for this reason there are some tips that we can apply to improve this and that it is not an impediment when playing.

The first tip is something classic when you play on the console, the aiming car or aiming aid . We must deactivate it because it can move our sights at a time that we do not want; This will depend on each person since there are those who make the game much easier for them but others do not recommend it.

If we play on the console it is advisable to gradually increase the sensitivity , on PC this is the opposite but on the console at the beginning we have a very low sensitivity, and if they are attacking us from different angles we will not turn the camera so fast with a low sensitivity .

In Overwatch you have the possibility of exchanging the sights, this can help us to have a little more precision , you must go to the shooting range, select the character of your preference and use the sights one by one, seeing which one seems more comfortable. , you select it and start playing.

Workshops that can help us improve our aim

The Workshop allows us to add content made by the community to our base game, there are a wide variety of maps , in which you can play, but here we will focus on talking about some maps designed specifically, for the practice of marksmanship.

Advanced Training Range , is the first map we will talk about, to begin we have to add two “ANA”, in medium difficulty; then 3 “Lucios”, on difficult and finally a “Zeniatta”, on easy difficulty.

Once this is done we have to choose our character, and the game will begin; It has several game modes, including “Death of the Lucios”, “The game with Zenniatta” and “Improve jumping with Ana”.

The second map is Aim Practice , when entering the map we will have to press “E” and it will send us to the shooting area on this map. It is recommended to use “MCcree”; A red ball will appear in front of us to which we will have to shoot and change position.

The third map is Aim Trainer , when entering the map we will have a menu with 4 spheres, we will have the modes;  “Three spheres, objective mode and Chasing” , we can choose any of these.
