How to talk to Fastweb operator: chat
If you intend to talk to Fastweb operator via chat, you have at least two options to choose from: use the “direct” chat accessible from the MyFastweb customer area , or use WhatsApp .
Note: Fastweb’s assistance channels are the same both for the fixed network and for problems and requests dedicated to SIMs. Therefore, if you are trying to understand how to talk to Fastweb mobile operator , know that you can follow exactly the same steps that I will give you in the course of the guide.
MyFastweb personal area
To chat with a Fastweb operator, connected to the MyFastweb portal using the browser you usually use to browse online from your computer (eg. Chrome , Edge or Safari), click on the Login button located at the top right and enter your username and password in the appropriate fields.
The information in question should have been sent to you, by SMS, during the early stages of service activation: if you no longer remember them, click on the link I don’t remember my credentials , then on the Recover button corresponding to the wording Password MyFastweb, liveFAST, App and WOW Space and complete the form that is proposed to you with the requested information ( tax code / VAT number , mobile number or email address ). Then pass the I am not a robot check and click on the Recover button , to receive the password reset instructions.
In any case, once logged in, you should see the icon of a masked man appear , marked with the words Can I help you? in the lower right corner of the screen: click on it and a chat with Marvin , Fastweb’s automatic bot will open.
At this point, try to expose your problem in natural language and follow the suggestions that are proposed to you (the answers are automatic) to try to solve it.
In case of failure, after a few requests, Marvin should offer you to speak directly with a human operator, proposing the button I want assistance / Contact me immediately ; when you see it, press it, confirm the desire to be contacted by a human operator and wait a few moments for Marvin to process the request.
Depending on the problem and the status of the service, you may be contacted via chat, always within the same box, or by telephone; in both cases, you only have to wait for the response of the human operator, to whom you can expose your request. The Marvin bot is always available, but the chat service with technical assistance “in flesh and blood” is active every day , from 08:00 to 20:00 .
If you prefer, you can open a chat with a Fastweb human operator using WhatsApp . In this case, however, I cannot guarantee that the response will be timely, as everything depends on the status of the service and the workload of the operators: it could take a few hours to receive feedback.
In any case, to talk to Fastweb via WhatsApp, make sure that the messaging app is correctly installed and configured on your Android smartphone (downloadable from the official website for devices without Play Store) or on your iPhone , then save the phone number 375.5175302 among your contacts: this is the number associated with Fastweb customer assistance. If you don’t know how to add contacts on WhatsApp , read my guide dedicated to the subject.
Subsequently, open WhatsApp and start a conversation with the number I indicated earlier, explaining the problem you encountered to the operator. Within some time, you should receive a response from a real person, who may ask you to confirm some data, such as verifying your identity.
Alternatively, if you prefer to make a “direct” request and associate it with your customer code, you can use the official MyFastweb app (available on the Play Store , on alternative stores for Android and on the App Store ) to start the WhatsApp chat. Again, it is imperative that the messaging app is already present on the device.
In any case, once you have obtained the necessary, start the app, MyFastweb and log in to it using the credentials that were provided to you when signing the contract. Then, tap on the ☰ button located at the top right, to open the main menu, tap on the Fastweb Assistance and Support items and use the options that are proposed to you to choose the main topic (eg Internet service or voice not works or Mobile, smartphone and tablet service ) and details about the problem you are experiencing.
Following this operation, you will be offered a series of potentially useful solutions to resolve the issue; to go to the next suggestion, tap the Continue button . If, at the end of the wizard, you are unable to solve your problem, tap the I want to be contacted button , then tap the Use WhatsApp option located in the box that appears on the screen and press the Proceed button .
If everything went well, a WhatsApp chat with Fastweb should open containing a pre- filled message : send it, without altering the text, and wait patiently for an operator to respond to your request for assistance. The service is active every day from 08:00 to 20:00 .
How to talk to Fastweb mobile operator
If you want to talk to Fastweb from a mobile phone , you can choose to act in at least two different ways: chatting via WhatsApp, or talking on the phone.
If you are interested in getting in touch with Fastweb via WhatsApp, I refer you to reading the previous section of this guide, in which I have explained this possibility to you. If you prefer to speak on the phone, the quickest method is to book a call back using the MyFastweb app which I have already told you about previously.
So, after downloading and starting the application, log in with your personal data, touch the ☰ button located at the top right and touch the Assistance item located in the menu that opens.
Then, tap on the Fastweb Support option and follow the procedure proposed to you to identify your problem: specify, therefore, the main topic, together with any details, by tapping on the options displayed on the screen.
If you think it appropriate, try to put into practice the solutions that are suggested to you to try to solve the matter independently; if you fail, you can move on to the next solution by tapping the Continue button .
Once the wizard is complete, if you still intend to get in touch with an operator, tap the I want to be contacted button and select the mode that best suits your needs: We’ll call you immediately! , to be called back immediately, or Book a call back , to be called back on a set day and time.
Then indicate the telephone number on which you prefer to be contacted and, if applicable, select the date and time of the telephone appointment; when you’re done, tap the Contact Me / Book button and that’s it.
Now, if you have chosen immediate callback, you will be contacted within a few minutes from the telephone number 02.454445 ; in case of no answer, the operators will try to call you back for the whole next hour, once every ten minutes; otherwise, if you have chosen to use the reservation, you will be called back on the day and at the preset time, always from the same number. Although it is always possible to request a re-contact or an appointment, the operators are available every day from 08:00 to 22:00 .
Finally, if you cannot or do not want to use the MyFastweb app, you can try to speak to a real operator by calling 192.193 (or 192.194 , if you have subscribed to a SMALL type business subscription): the call is free from the network Fastweb, both fixed and mobile, and is priced according to the active plan for all other operators. From abroad , the number to call is +39.373.0004193 and the call is free from SIM Fastweb.
Unfortunately, however, I cannot suggest a quick method for speaking to a human operator, as the menu items change very frequently: I therefore recommend that you listen carefully to the instructions of the voice guide , to know the precise keys to use. Also in this case, the automatic service 192.193 is always active, but the human operators answer from 08:00 to 22:00 (or 24:00 , in case of a call from abroad), every day.
How to talk to Fastweb operator from PC
If you prefer to talk to a Fastweb operator from a PC, you can use the Marvin bot and chat with a human operator (I explained how to do it in the initial chapter of this guide), or use the MyFastweb web area to be contacted by phone.
In this regard, all you have to do is go to the MyFastweb portal using the browser you usually use to surf the Internet, click on the Login button at the top right and, when prompted, enter the username and password associated with your Fastweb profile, in the appropriate fields.
Once logged in, position the mouse cursor on the Assistance item which resides in the upper menu, click on the Fastweb Support item that appears immediately below and follow the same instructions already seen in the previous chapter : except for the position of the menus and items, the steps to be completed are practically identical to those provided by the MyFastweb app for smartphones and tablets.
How to talk to Fastweb commercial operator
You are not yet a Fastweb customer but you are interested in becoming one and before starting a new contract, would you like information about the various offers proposed?
In this case, you can contact the Fastweb commercial area by dialing the number 146 (valid both if you are a private user and if you are a user with VAT number): the service is active from 08:00 to 22:00 and the call is free from all landline numbers.
If, on the other hand, you represent a small / medium-sized company and you need an average complex subscription, consisting of a physical or virtual switchboard and from 2 to 8 telephone lines ( SMALL segment ), you can instead contact the number 192.194 , free from landlines and mobile Fastweb. The service is active from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 20:00 .
