- 7: the device is protected for diving up to a depth of one meter for a maximum duration of 30 minutes;
- 8: the device is protected for diving up to a depth of one meter and lasting over 30 minutes.
But be careful because, even if in possession of the certification, your phone could still be damaged by salt water which tends to corrode the components of your smartphone .
If you don’t have a water-resistant mobile phone or don’t want to risk damaging it in salt water, don’t worry! You will be able to use gadgets that will allow you to immerse your phone in water even if it is not IPxx certified.
