It took a long time but Psychonauts 2 is finally here and Raz’s story will finally pick up where the first game left off. Psychonauts 2 has a very rich story that unfolds like a Saturday morning cartoon, and personally I’ve rarely found myself wanting to skip something I haven’t seen before. With that being said, sometimes you want to skip cutscenes so here’s how to do exactly that in Psychonauts 2 .
How to skip scenes in Pyschonauts 2
To skip a scene, press and hold the B button if you are on Xbox or the Circle button if you are on PlayStation. You need to hold it for a few seconds as shown in the upper right corner. If you see the button fill in at the top right, it means you can jump in and it will eventually move forward and push the action forward if you hold it down long enough.
While most cut scenes can be skipped, there might be some that you can’t. You will only need to hang on in this case.
Even if you love history like I do, skipping scenes in Psychonauts 2 can come in handy at times when you die and reboot and are forced to revisit what you’ve already seen. It may be a bridge too far, even for story buffs like me, so try to remember that you can do it in these cases.
