The simple answer to this would be, yes, you can skip the videos. And it makes perfect sense because the video plays every time the game is launched. And the worst part is that there is no option to omit them from the game. This is really frustrating because we seem to be forced to watch them all the time.
How to skip the intro videos?
Well, since the developers haven’t provided any simple or straightforward method to skip the videos, we had no choice but to fiddle with the files in the install directory. Fortunately, we found a solution. Here is what you need to do:
- Go to the location where you installed Hood: Outlaws & Legends
- Common location is steamapps common Hood Hood Content Movies
- Inside the folder, you will see something called “Hood_Loading_Movie”
- Delete or rename it (don’t forget to make a backup before that. Just make a copy of the file)
