Installing WhatsApp on Android Watch
For watches running Wear OS, the setup process is fairly simple. Follow these steps:
- Make sure your smartwatch is connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth;
- On your smartwatch, open the Play Store;
- Type “WhatsApp” in the search bar and click on the install button;
- Once installed, open WhatsApp on both your watch and smartphone. Log in to your account on the watch using the eight-digit authorization code to complete pairing;

Setting up WhatsApp on Chinese Smartwatches
For Chinese smart watches the process is almost the same:
- Before installing WhatsApp, make sure your operating system is updated to the latest version. This will help avoid possible compatibility issues;
- Go to the app store on your smartwatch. Find and install WhatsApp;
- Open the app and register using your phone number. Enter the confirmation code that will be sent to your number to complete the setup;
