How to access the Linksys interface

All Linksys devices have an interface that you can easily access from your preferred browser. You can do this from your PC or smartphone and just type “192.168.1.1” into the search engine and press Enter while you are connected to the corresponding WiFi.

When you enter this page, you will be asked for a username and password, both of which are usually “admin” . If this is not the case, then you should check the manual or contact support directly so they can tell you what the details are.

Once you’ve set them, click Start and you’ll be in the Linksys interface just like that. Now, to link your WiFi , you need to find the PIN number located on a label on the bottom of the device and enter it into the instructions on the page.

On the other hand, you have the option to synchronize using the arrow button located in the central part of your router, just follow the instructions on the page to connect.

How to configure basic Linksys by Cisco WiFi setting

Once you’re in the interface, you’ll see a bunch of features available, but you don’t have to worry. The basic setup to get everything running smoothly is to follow the standard Internet Setup method .

Well, in the main Basic Setup screen you have to select Automatic Configuration – DHPC so that everything adapts automatically. In turn, you need to check the Enable box for DHPC Server.

In the Starting IP Address section you should write “100” and in Maximum Number of DHCP Users , “50” as maximum, which is recommended.

The Basic Setup section should now be ready and you should now access the Wireless section . Here you can re-sync your WiFi if there is a problem from Wi-Fi Protected Setup . On the other hand, it is best to activate the Wireless SSID Broadcast option

Regarding the Wireless Channel , choose the one you want, although 4, 6 and 11 are the most used channels due to the GHz they offer.

With this, your WiFi router should be working correctly and if you want to see the information of the current one that you have modified, simply go to the Status section and the parameters will appear there.
