How to activate the Temporary Message Mode
This mode was designed specifically for Direct, that is, Instagram’s private messages. To activate it, all you have to do is enter an existing chat or start a new one and keep your finger pressed anywhere on the screen from bottom to top. Keep this pressure for a few seconds until a chat with a black background opens.
All the messages you write in this chat will disappear when it closes. Obviously, the disappearance of the text relates only to the messages read, those not displayed will remain available to the recipient until he reads them.

Things to know about temporary messages on Instagram
