How to See Your Top Songs on Spotify

Want to know how to see your top songs on Spotify? Read on to learn how you can discover your most-played tracks! We are going to explain how to find out the top songs we listen to most on Spotify . Whether it is to better understand our musical taste, show off on social media or broaden our horizons, it is interesting information.

We propose several options, since Spotify officially only allows you to see the top songs from the desktop app, not from mobile. Luckily, we have found a solution that avoids this limitation.

These are the three options to see the top most listened to songs on the streaming platform:

From Spotify for Windows or Mac

The Spotify Desktop app for computers shows the top songs and most listened to artists of the last month . It is the simplest option, although not the most complete. On mobile devices it only shows the most listened to artists , not the top songs.

  1. Go to the profile icon , in the upper right corner, and then choose “Profile” from the drop-down menu:
  2. We’ll see lists of most-listened-to artists and songs at the top of this section, with a “Show All” button to view up to 50 items.
    1. On mobile, the steps are the same, but only the top artists appear, not the top songs.

    Use Spotifytrack statistics

The best option to see the top songs, artists and other statistics on Spotify is a third-party service . There are several options such as Chosic, Spotify Stats or Stats.fm. We recommend Spotifytrack, which is the one we like the most after testing it thoroughly.

We will have to give them access to our account , but we think it’s safe enough. Especially since our Spotify history isn’t very sensitive information for most users either.

    1. We go to the Spotifytrack website , which is in English, but it is simple:

    Web: Spotifytrack

    1. After an introductory text we will see the “Connect to Spotify” button which we must press:
    2. Now a screen appears asking you to log in to Spotify , and give permission to Spotifytrack, so that this third-party service should not know the password at any time.
    3. Numerous statistics of our use of Spotify will appear, in the “Top tracks” tab there is the top songs, considering three possible time periods (short, medium and long):

When you enter Spotifytrack, it tells you that you can only access the songs you listen to from now on, not the history. Luckily, this is not the case; in our experience, it has been able to go back many months, even years.

Use Spotify Wrapped

The last option is to use the Spotify Wrapped summary, a summary available as the end of each year approaches . The streaming platform activates it around December, and deactivates it at the beginning of the following year.

Web: Spotify Wrapped

Spotify Wrapped is very popular at the end of each year, and the stats are very comprehensive, so it’s a shame we don’t always have it available.

If we want to expand the variety of our top most listened to songs, we have selected some of the best Spotify playlists , with varied music that we find highly recommended.
