How to schedule messages on Telegram

Telegram improves with each update and every day it gains more followers to its instant messaging app, the only one to date, capable of standing up to WhatsApp. Well, you can now schedule a message on Telegram in order for it to be sent on a set date and time.

It is all very simple and fast, but you have to start with a very important step, and that is, to obtain the feature you have to update Telegram to the latest version , either on Android or iOS.

Can they spy on you on Telegram?

Once you update Telegram to the latest version, then you can continue with the following steps:

  • Open the Telegram app, enter any chat, either individual or in a group and write the message you want.
  • Press and hold the blue send icon and you will see the option to send a silent message and the option to schedule the message .
  • Choose the option “Schedule message” and then select the date and click on the bottom blue bar that indicates the data of the day and time when the message will be sent.
  • When that time comes, the message will be sent normally.

Now we are going with a curiosity, and that is that, if you use the chat with yourself, called “Saved messages” , the programming of messages becomes reminders and is done like this:

  • Open the chat “Saved messages”, in the text input bar write what you want.
  • Press and hold the blue send icon and select the date you want to receive the reminder.
  • Click on the blue bar below that shows the chosen date and time.
  • At that moment the “Reminders” chat opens . It will be there where the different reminders that you activate are housed. Once they expire, they are removed.
  • When the specified date arrives, you receive a notification as if it were a normal message.

And so, so fast and simple, you can schedule messages on Telegram , as well as create reminders for ourselves. These functions are native to Telegram, as you have seen. However, in the case of WhatsApp, in order to program messages, external applications are required.
