The iPhone is the digital Swiss army knife of many users. Even more so when we discovered that we can scan documents on the iPhone directly, without the need for any app. A functionality that is integrated into the operating system itself and that we will tell you about below.
Scan iPhone documents: how to do it without downloading apps
Scanning documents from the iPhone is a feature that comes standard on the Apple terminal. And it has been for a long time . Any user with an iPhone and an iOS version from the last few years can take advantage of it. It is therefore nothing exclusive to iOS 15 or iOS 16 .
To scan documents on the iPhone , for free and without needing an app, all we have to do is do the following:
- We open Notes and create a new one.
- We click on it to start writing, although we will see how a toolbar is also displayed.
- Among them we see one in the shape of a photo camera, which we press.
- Some options will appear, among which we will choose “Scan documents”.
- The camera mode will be activated and we will be able to place the document to be scanned inside the viewer with it.
- If we have it in automatic mode, the iPhone will automatically detect and capture it. Otherwise, we can press the manual capture button.
- And ready, we can save the scanned document in the note that we have created.
Although the iPhone itself adjusts the limits of the document quite well, we can modify the corners to our liking. This way we will have the document scanned perfectly. Remember that you can scan documents with the iPhone, as many as you want and as many pages as you need.
