Warface (Warface) – multiplayer online shooter MMOFPS (first person). Developed by Crytek Studio. Published and localized in Runet by Mail.ru. Distributed under the Free-to-play license.
Warface battle takes place in the near future, 2023, between the zealots of law and order (Warface squad) and the Blackwood terrorist clan. The game offers both PvP battles and cooperative missions based on the PvE concept.
This guide will show you how to register and start playing Warface (how to download, install and run the client for free).
registration
- To register in Varface, on the Russian-language official website of the project (wf.mail.ru), click the “Register” button.
- Enter the address of your mailbox on mail.ru in full @ mail.ru format.
Email from other postal services is not allowed. If you don’t know how to create a mail.ru account, read this article.
- Specify the password to enter the Mail.ru service.
- Come up with a nickname consisting of 6-16 Latin letters and numbers.
Note. After entering the data into the line, pay attention to the service hints (whether the required information is specified correctly).
- Click on the “Register” button.
Upon completion of the procedure, the profile panel will open in front of you. The ID (payment identifier) is displayed under the account avatar. On the left side of it is a tiled menu of options (management, money transfer, bonuses, etc.).
Installing and running the client
- Click on the “Download” section in the top menu.
- On the new page, click “Download Game” again.
- Wait until the distribution package is downloaded to your computer.
- Run the installer as administrator.
- Place a mouse click on the checkbox in the add-on “… I accept the terms …”.
- Click “Continue”.
After performing this operation, the download of the Warface game will automatically start in the game center window. If necessary, you can pause it for a while (you will not have to download the application from scratch).
Advice! In the client “Game Center” you can watch photos and trailers of new games.
Client authorization
- Click on the “Login” option in the upper right corner.
- Enter the address and password from mail.ru.
- Click on “Login”.
Setting up the game
- In the client window, click the “My games” section.
- Hover over Warface.
- In the panel that appears, click the “down arrow” button.
- Select the required option from the list (settings, create a shortcut, uninstall).
